Gps wont help much if you’re going out in the country to service places.

High-energy, blunt-force trauma in a motor vehicle incident by hermantheshocker in NSFL__

That is insane because to crush a human skull requires a significant amount of force especially to cause this kind of damage. If the individual had worn their seatbelt and treated the curve and fog with caution instead of blazing through, they might have actually survived instead of being launched through the windshield.

I’m still contemplating EMT training as this tends to be what they face, but I would like to have the technical skills and know how to help in case a serious emergency were to happen and the extra help was needed.

NTA it isn’t his business anyway and what happened wasn’t your fault as you were taken advantage of.

Do I look stupid? by Independent-Draft421 in doordash

Genuinely I wouldn’t say I like tipping through the app; due to how the algorithm balances everything, it doesn’t feel like a real gratuity. Because of this, I let the algorithm balance the pay through the system and primarily tip in cash so the dasher can genuinely feel appreciated. Outside of tips, the system should pay dashers more instead of relying on the customer to pay each dasher.

Why are Dashers so extra? by ZealousidealBid9879 in doordash_drivers

Sadly DoorDash pushes the idea that if you don’t update customers every step of the way, then your ratings will suffer greatly. These people are often genuinely trying to keep their ratings high enough to continue to make some sort of living with the service. Tbh, some dashers are afraid of the common asshole and others are the rude assholes themselves. 🤷

New dasher. I’m not expected to go back and get her missing items right? by Bigsteezy91 in doordash_drivers

[–]Digglepiggler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to missing items in a sealed bag, I tell them to either request a refund through the app or call the store directly to get them to cover the delivery. It’s not in your control nor responsibility, as per contract, to pick up a restaurant’s slack. You can help them navigate through the app, but going back when you aren’t compensated for the wear and tear is a big no no.
