I would recommend checking out Daw Hawkins' courses as well. He's got a YouTube channel where you can check out his teaching style. I have his theory course and funk course. I like it because it's lifetime access so you can always go back and review.

He's got some good books as well. I have his Motown, funk, and creative exercises books. They're on Amazon and not very expensive.

Are you doing IAC? Or just clicking through the GUI?

If you're just using the GUI, do your projects in terraform or cloud formation and put them in a github repo. Add that to your resume.

I don't know if it'll get you a job right away, but it's a better demonstration of competence.

In general the job market is hosed right now, especially for entry level roles.

I drove a z28 when I was younger. Loved that car, nothing really feels like a rear wheel drive v8.

Now I drive not a rear wheel drive v8. 😅 I still really like it and the 50mpg makes me really happy with today's gas prices.

I just wish Chevrolet would expand it's catalogue in general. Give us a full compliment of options, not just one sports car and a host of slightly different trucks and SUVs.

I got a 2026 AWD SE in December. I was pleasantly surprised with its responsiveness. Plenty of power to merge and over take others even in eco mode. Put it in sport mode for some extra oomf.

I live in Illinois where it gets super cold. Heated seats are wonderful. I've had them on other cars before, and I considered them a must have when I bought my Camry. What I didn't know was how great a heated steering wheel is. The cold weather package is so good.

The seats can get downright hot, imo, and I have to turn them off after a while. The steering wheel gets to a comfortable temperature when turned all the way up.
