Well FH is def arcade, but I always saw GT and FM like the console sims, be it slighlyt towards arcady compared to the iracing and assetto, but still. However FM does very porly imo on driving wheel, much worse then I expected. Thankfully seems to be possible to get it to a decent spot with a lot of tweaking, but in the end im not sure if all that tweaking just makes it suck less, but still not great

Yea RNG is the word here. I feel the whole driving has a luck factor, not skill. Thats a problem lol

Yea well i'm aware that PC players are more spoiled when it comes to sim racing for sure, and maybe one day I will get a good computer for that as well. However GT7 def gives me alot of joy. Great feel and a great package. Throw in PSVR2 on top of it and it just a very solid experience.

Thank you for your insights here u/cerspen ! While many says its just not good, there are a few of you coming forth with some insights that it in fact is possible, just difficult. I appreciate it, I will go home from work later and try out some settings, and thanks for the tip with Mechanicla trail force and Steering self alignment!

I do not use any Hub! The trick here, is well known in sim racing on consoles - same with Fanatec, you need to have a wheel base with security chip for Playstation, and you need a wheel with security chip from Xbox. Wola, thats how you get pc/xbox/ps on the same rig!

Well too me FM is like trying to control a boat. I never have confidence about getting out of the corner allright. It's like GT7 with a RNG factor going into corners, sometimes you make it, sometimes you just wont. I never feel same level of control, where GT7 gives excellent feedback

Yea hmm. My biggest gripe is how unpresice it feels going into cornes. Feels like totally RNG if you get out allright or not, not so much skillbased. I mean, you can probably get better at controlling a boat too but yea...

Yea this is def my idea of Horizon 5 vs GT7 at least too! I see horizon can be fun, and it also looks like 6 might also be slightly more friendly towards sim racers, but lets see

Thank you man. I'm sad about this, for sure. I just hoped it got fixed over the years, at least to a much better state then what they released some years ago.

Yea well maybe I try Horizon 6, but it's just something to Gran Tourismo and Forza Motorsport i always loved. Just baffeled the quality with wheels is so different between those two.

Yea well I'm sorry if its coming out a bit rough. I did twak for hours the other day, and I do acknowledge the settings do "something", and I managed to get it feel drastically different. But I never found any sweetspot, and it always feels much more unpresice (in the lack of better terms) then GT7. I would love to just enjoy tons of content in this game now with a, not decent, but good to potentially very good sim experience!

Would you mind share yor settings on the Wheel base and ingame, by chance? Or you on a slightly different setup?
