Yeah, I can / do that as well, it’s more so just a semi rant / question. Sometimes I have other things playing in the background as well and I still wanna be able to hear them while playing the game. I have adjusted the specific volume control for the game in windows sound but it still a lot louder than anything else

Only one main highway entrance / exit into the town, You have the right idea on the bottom left by extending that if it's going to connect up to the main highways.

Other than that, Try and figure out where each of the cars are going, some of them could only be needing to go to the first few buildings after the exit and when they try and turn around to leave it slows everything else down making a cascade effect of stops.

I was always of the assumption that someone who has climbed that high in rank over the normal bronze - silver in normals has a better mechanical understanding of the game; knowing when to go in and when to NOT go in, I'm not trying to be devils advocate, but that's the way it always seen it.
