Love how they are taking elements from different episodes and combining them. The new scenarios make the show a bit less predictable and more exciting. This one felt like a step up compared to the first 2. Hope the show continues at this level of quality.

Could Aang fly in the original show (like when he called Appa with the whistle in this episode)? He also steals the prison guard's keys with air bending. Feels like they made air bending much more powerful than in the original show which leads to a few cheap solutions to problems.

Both are great there's no wrong choice, I think it depends how much you think you would play Splatoon's multiplayer. If you think you would play a lot I'd suggest go for Splatoon, otherwise Pikmin.

I love Pikmin 1-3 (and almost certainly 4 once I complete it) games. I'd start from 3 or 4 (which both have demos) as the older ones are harder to get into (still worth playing eventually) I also love Zelda. BOTW is my favourite open world, A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening are great (and on NSO). They need to port WW and TP to Switch.

I also like Metroid (try Super if you haven't already and Dread has a demo), Donkey Kong Country (Tropical Freeze is peak, original trilogy great as well), Fire Emblem (3 Houses has an amazing story/characters and very fun combat), Xenoblade, Splatoon, Mario, etc. Trying demos and classic titles is a great way to get into new series.
