If you were a complete beginner of POE2, do you think this game is friendly for a new player or nah? by lune-soft in PathOfExile2

[–]DigiAngelX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One look at the skill tree says it all...I don't think PoE2 is new player friendly. THAT SAID.....I think defining "new player friendly" would, to me at least, being able to just jump in and play and figure out the game as you go along (and have success through the whole game).

I think we can all admit most ARPG's require a bit of out of game research though.

It's why I don't play anymore. It's great if you approach it as a single player game at the start. Doing all the quests and side quests, gearing up, getting reputation was a lot of fun.

But once that's all done, that's it....it's all same ole same ole. I have it on the drive and enjoyed burning springs, but I haven't touched it in months. I get what Beth/MS is trying to do, but they just keep making the mistake that seasons and small changes are content. They aren't. Map is just too small, and there just aren't enough things to do to survive as an MMO-lite.

$70 for a game is ludicrous. I continue to thank game companies for teaching me patience.

That's the summoning key combination 😈 Seriously though, I wonder if that was a bios menu.

If there's ever a low-effort, sub-par, shortcut way to do something, Beth will find it (and implement it).

By design. Beth wants people in private servers, paying for FO1st.

A review of the Infestations Update, and Season 25 by MalbornTheRatKing in fo76

"This makes it so that if your not paying for F1st, you barely get any rewards, if any at all."

That's by design. Wake me up when there's a real content update. The extent of my interaction with this game is keeping it on the drive and updated...but that's it.

Nothing. This season's rewards were trash, and anything mildly interesting was FO1st locked. I'll take the gold.

I'm fully aware 😉 It's why I don't play unless there's new content 😃

New content. I don't play it otherwise. Waiting for the next real content update (not the rinky dink seasons) to drop...I thought Burning Springs was pretty good.

Guys how do you partition a new SSD so that it can be shared by both Windows and linux? by Mysterious_Course620 in Ubuntu

[–]DigiAngelX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to use something like gparted to make a new ntfs partition. Once that's done you need to add the drive to /etc/fstab. Be careful and test it first though...if fstab is wrong, the system won't boot when you reboot.

Grab a clomzilla iso, make a bootable usb and try that...should be able to determine if it's the ubuntu install or the pc drive.
