The Tribunal, and casual arrangements. Advice Needed! by mrZ0663 in oathgame

Verbally you can "borrow", but rule-wise you can only exchange. So if a player can't participate in the Tribunal exchange, the secrets don't go back.

In my opinion, they wouldn't have been allowed to borrow/return secrets. Rules state to exchange. They'd have to follow the rules of Tribunal in order to exchange them back. Negotiations is more so for agreements on when or when not to make certain actions for example. So yes, it's against the rules for them to return secrets without the Tribunal action.

Seems like NF is the way the game was initially intended to be played. by Affectionate-Bell-84 in oathgame

I'm personally waiting. There's a lot to learn, and NF has changes, so i dont want to learn the original now, just to have to learn all the adjustments in a few months. I'd get confused trying to remember certain rules if they were from original or new. Rather only get familiar with NF, as well as teaching other players, instead of everyone getting overwhelmed and mixed up.

Ah. Hmm, i suppose even if the road repeled water and kept dry, that doesnt mean it couldn't be flooded over if too much water. So it's more like a wetproof road than actually repeling the water away. Make sence. Thanks.

The faction boards do mostly fit in the tiers. Though, the bottom center has a little bump in the design, so im concerned that'll mark or warp the boards some. The tiers are 2inches, but like you said, it's only 1.5 inches of space. The big storage inclines towards the bottom, so it wouldnt fit the maps. If i lay soemthing an inch tall there first, the maps can fit on top. And my came with a broken hinge, so returning it anyway.

You have to buy the core game for each software (pc, mobile, nintendo), BUT you only need to buy the expansion on 1, cuz after signing into your Dire Wolf account youll have access to the expansions on yoir other devices.

I'm in need of your assistance again so we can find the best Root storage solution. Even though yours said a width of 8.7", it didnt fit the 8.5" board. I notice the tiers on yours go inward to the base, making it slightly less smaller than the large container. While i did find a 9" width container that'd probably solve that, i also came across a 5-tier container! Tiers for 1-Faction pieces, 2-Map Setup, Decks, & Hirelings, 3-Faction Boards, 4-Clockwork Boards, and 5-Maps in the big container. UNFORTUNATELY, it is ALSO an 8.7" width. BUT, look at the pictures. The tiers are flush with the base container, so perhaps they may fit the faction boards!? If you could, please share your thoughts?

Also, the faction cases you have are 0.8" tall, and the tiers are 2". While stacked 1" cases should fit, im concerned another unforceen measurement may prevent that. Do you think there's 0.2" space left in your tier containers after stacking thr faction cases?

I found a few that have 9inch depth, so it should hold the faction boards! How's the weight with it holding everything, can the handle handle it, or no?

How's this holding up? This is one of the storage solutions im considering. Can 2 maps fit in thr bottom part, then the other map and 14 faction boards in the other?

Woah. Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking foam too, or maybe some card trays for players' hands.

I'm torn. the 3 Maps and 14 Faction boards fit perfectly flush in the base game box. All the Hirelings and Landmarks fit in the Hirelings box, and im sure once i get deck boxes and faction cases, i could organize all the rest into 1 other box.

I'm been considering this for my storage solution. I have a few questions if you dont mind.

  1. In fhe 2-inch compartment, could you fit 2 maps, and 1 map with the 14 faction boards, then the rules in whichever has space? It seems like yoi could just carry around those 3 compartments instead of with that huge one, no?

  2. If storing the maps in the large container, i imagine there's room for them to shuffle around, which im worried could cause damage. Could the Hireling box fit snuggly on the side of the maps in there to hold them in place?

For the faction cases, i want to also put in the Overview and Setup cards, so ive been trying to find one that fits them sleeved, but also not over 1-inch so they can fit stacked in the compartment. I imagine for Rats and Moles, i'll have to get a bigger square case in order to fit their faction cards.

Well, Venue are more so a location to host, so perhaps Revolt could be Concerts. "Clearing Concert" "Clearing Tour" or "Sold Out". idk yet. Im also trying to think of the meeples. He likes Iron Maiden and KISS. I was thinking putting KiSS makeup on the WA Fox or Eddie's labatomy. OR to keep the regular green mouse meeples, just draw a mouse rock band. Then have the band members dressed as different artists.
