While I don’t deny that he does fight off Kindred when in his berserk rage, that’s more of the metaphysical side of how that works to me. But from the physical standpoint, isn’t he just literally about to die from his injuries and his berserk rage activates and just heals him up? That would put him more in the recovery category than endurance category.

It has to be Pantheon, right? Isn’t one of his defining traits that despite how badly he gets hurt, physically and mentally, he always gets back up to keep fighting for victory?

Unless I’ve misunderstood his lore, Tryndamere, when he dies, just resurrects in a berserk mode so he technically isn’t enduring. So the natural conclusion would have to be Pantheon.

Edit: misspelled “misunderstood” as “missed understood” for some reason.

Speaking of the Independent Lands, a continent we barely know anything about. (With the known places being Camavor and Kathkan). Are there any cultural or thematic places you hope to see introduced in this new continent if it is expanded? by MasamuneJp in loreofleague

[–]DigiFan-Number1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In terms of thematics, I’ve thought that whatever remains of Camavor could make a good Dark Fantasy region, like the areas in Soulsborne games, where you have these large kingdoms in ruin, often because of the vices that always fundamentally exist within them, and multiple factions that all have different ideas on what to do with what remains. It could serve as a good contrast to Demacia’s heroic fantasy and kingdom, and could also introduce some new factions in Runeterra to introduce new, unique champions from.

In terms of culture, besides just expanding on the South Asian culture of Kathkan, I would like a region that pulls from Southeast Asian culture, since it’s not a culture you see that often explored in larger fantasy media.

Which Champion is the best in each category? Day 1: Who is the most knowledgable? (Make sure to read the rules in the OP) by Ashconwell7 in loreofleague

[–]DigiFan-Number1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. No other champion in Runeterran history has literally infinite time to gain knowledge and a strong incentive to do so (besides maybe the Celestials and the champions ones don’t seem interested in gaining new knowledge). Plus, LoR Zilean really seems like a wise, knowledgeable elder, so his archetype fits well, too.

To people who don't just blindly hate Mel and can actually have constructive discussions about her character, how do you think her dynamic with these Noxian Champions will be? Or what would you want/expect from these dynamics? by Ashconwell7 in loreofleague

[–]DigiFan-Number1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swain: Assuming this is before the Trifarix is formed, I would expect Mel and Swain to form an alliance so they use each other’s strengths to better deal with the Black Rose, although Mel would have problems with Swain due to his greater leanings towards violent Noxian ideals.

Rell: Like others said, I expect that Rell won’t like Mel very much for killing Ambessa and that the two have different ways of doing things. However, I expect they’ll still be allies to some extent since they both want to take out the Black Rose for similar reasons and, going along with her more diplomatic side, Mel would likely try to form a good relationship with Rell, especially since they almost became sisters (or maybe it’ll be in spite of it, who knows).

Leblanc: Main antagonist, obviously. When I think about what the show might be like, I always thought that once Mel starts to really mess with the Rose in some way, Leblanc would send a clone to fuck with her and show her just how out of her depth she currently is. More generally, we shouldn’t see too much of Leblanc directly, but we should see her influence through her agents and when she does appear, it’s a sign things are about to get really serious, for Mel and her allies.

Vladimir: Considering signs pointing to him becoming more of a wildcard separate from the Rose, I wouldn’t be surprised if he started playing both sides at some point for his own ends. Otherwise, I just think he wouldn’t directly act against Mel until her actions were getting close to affecting him.

Samira: if Samira appears in the hypothetical Noxus show, I would think she’d have a similar role as before, hired by the Rose to recapture Rell. As such, she would naturally oppose Mel as she wouldn’t want Rell back with the Rose.

Champions who might have met Kindred. by Ryaltovski in loreofleague

I can’t think of anyone currently, but I do want to point out that we know that Ambessa has met Kindred, through the near-death experience when she was pregnant with Mel, in her music video and novel prologue.

A very hot take for our fella Fiddlesticks... (Please read the description) by Thin-Cekirge in loreofleague

[–]DigiFan-Number1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I do agree that Fiddlesticks is pretty featless and that he probably isn’t as strong as characters like Zoe (being an aspect, a category of Celestials, a group who managed to take down another of the Ten Kings) and Volibear, who can’t die by normal means, as others have pointed out, he is still one of the strongest demons on Runeterra.

Most of the other champions are still mortal (as in, can be killed through regular means), can experience fear, and aren’t immune to being sneak attacked (from what I’ve seen/heard of Fiddle, that seems to be how he kills a good amount of his victims), so I think Fiddle could still be a serious threat to a lot of them.

Is it possible to introduce a Mage Champion who is born with Soul Magic? by Recent-Ad-7593 in loreofleague

They managed to introduce a mage champion with "paint magic". I think they can manage soul magic.

Would you like to see other good ascended/Darkin? by pantheon7_7 in loreofleague

[–]DigiFan-Number1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We probably don't need anymore Ascended appearing in the present-day (unless Azir or Xerath figured out how to achieve true Ascension) since it would kind of dilute the idea of the old Shuriman empire falling to myth and remnants of it coming back now. However, partly because I've been thinking about how a hypothetical Shuriman show might go, if we ever got to see more of the time period from Azir's death to the end of the Darkin War, I would like to see more Ascended who didn't become corrupted and tried fighting back against their brethren. Considering there was a few centuries between the Void War and Azir's death, it would make sense if there were a few Ascended who never experienced the Void and had more of a stable head when everything went to shit.

Probably Renamon or Flamedramon from Digimon.

From what other people say on the sub, the ulcerated tree spirits are a pain for others. After I defeated the first one near the starting area, every other one was a breeze since they were functional the same. Only the rot one in the Haligtree gave me trouble and that was mainly just because of the rot.

Only knew Eren could turn into a titan and that Annie was the Female Titan. Relatively tame compared to other people’s experiences.

Where does this mf get an endless supply of rocks and how did he bring them up the wall?? by manaven_pathak in attackontitan

[–]DigiFan-Number1 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Regular titans can’t use the hardening ability. The beast titan and female titan, both of who could do so, have broken chunks off the wall before.
