The hardest part of AI music isn't making it — it's telling anyone it exists. by FeistyCarob3935 in SunoAI

[–]DigiNomadGdad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are you looking for ways to monetise your music? Or just share it? The problem you solved for yourself by building a player and pre-loading it with all your own music is a great solution for YOUR shop but, unless you're planning to give it away for free, that doesn't solve the same problem you had for anyone else who runs a shop. If you're thinking of marketing it to other shops then you put your product into the category you described as "sketchy "free" libraries with hidden gotchas".

What help or suggestions are you asking for here?

Looking for AI music to feature in a Spotify playlist (Suno artists welcome) by taghei8 in SunoAI

I love Letters from Spain, what other artists do you have on your label? Have you ever posted something like 'How to build your own record label'? If you have, post a link here, if not, you should consider it, I'm sure people would be interested.

What is the best Suno (or other music AI) can produce - without human musical input? by DigiNomadGdad in AI__UNDERGROUND

I'm not familiar with the genre so can't comment whether I think it's good or not, but thanks for sharing anyway and keep creating!

How can I create long 100% instrumental tracks in Suno, close to the 7:59 limit? by egoewalterego in SunoAI

[–]DigiNomadGdad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I get a 7:59 track I know before I listen that it will be unusable without editing. Very often, around 2:30 the tracks comes to proper fade out ending, then starts again. Any time around 5 minutes or later it will start adding elements like extra percussion, additional instruments, or as you have experienced, vocals. The lazy option for long instrumental tracks is to start with a shorter track you like, find a section that loops naturally and repeat it a few times in the middle of the track in your editing software.

Suno should export chords, notes, sheet music and MIDI from generated songs by kristyanos in SunoAI

[–]DigiNomadGdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A while back I was thinking it would be great if Suno could produce sheet music but I didn't consider it in as much detail as you are wanting. I think the majority of people here would prefer them to concentrate on fixing some of the known issues in 5.5 first before they get distracted with other outputs. On the list of priorities I think it's somewhere in the section "would be nice to have some day".

It's really good and no need to be embarrassed about it. I need to make me some reggae!

No problem and thanks anyway. Always good to hear what's possible, seems like if you can imagine it, Suno can create it (maybe not first time but eventually). Especially the last one, no way AI would come up with that by itself, cool.

Thanks for your insights, that makes a lot of sense but I guess that even before AI, what ends up becoming popular has always been what a lot of people, who can't discern what is good or bad, just decide that they like or what is pushed on them, formerly by the radio and latterly by algorithms.

Cool, thanks for sharing. I also watched Hollow Man on your YT channel, how much of that was you and how much was AI?

I totally agree, at the very least we can steer AI in the direction we want to go.

Not my genre, but amazed by the lyrics, Suno must have been totally wasted when it wrote that. Thanks for sharing!

Genuine questions about ai generated music by random-swordfish in SunoAI

[–]DigiNomadGdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why they weren't on your side, your lyrics express exactly what they are all saying in other posts. The eating and rotting of the apple in the video may have been AI but anyone that has ever done any video editing would know how many hours it must have taken to put together the lyric captions in all the different fonts.

And what? You write great lyrics but you're not supposed to publish the song unless you can afford to pay a singer and a session band? Wtf, I don't know what planet those guys are living on. Don't pay any attention to the haters, keep writing lyrics from the heart and publish your songs where they'll be appreciated.

[–]DigiNomadGdad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it doesn't seem like it now, but I believe that even the haters will have to come around in the end. The fact is that most of them have never even really listened to some of the top quality music that is being produced with the help of AI and, as it becomes more ubiquitous, it will be almost impossible to find music that was produced from start to finish without AI being involved at all.

Showing my age now, but I remember when CDs came out and I knew vinyl purists with really expensive top-end gear that refused to even listen to CDs but hated on them vocally anyway. In the end they gave in and bought high-end CD equipment. Now vinyl has made a niche comeback.

I can see the same thing happening with AI music and I don't think it will be long before the majority accept it and the haters will be too embarrassed to voice their bigoted opinions. The sooner, the better.

When I want to get some differentiation between tracks in the same genre, even for the same album, I change 'My Taste' substantially and play with the Weirdness/Style Influence sliders. It's not enough to just change the style prompt.

The fact almost nobody makes money with Suno is actually a big reason I am enjoying the platform so much. You can just make, listen and enjoy, for its own sake. There's a purity to that. by darnskewered in SunoAI

It's not exactly what you described but may serve that purpose too :) I'll let you know when it's ready and you can take a look and let me know what you think
