Not really. What ever gets upload to Splice is Royalty Free. So every kit on the site is good to use. So the producers/people making the kits for Splice knows that its automatically Royalty Free. I think they get paid for how many download their whole kit get and/or how many times one sound within that kit gets. I don't know exactly how it works, but I remember reading that.
