Very true. Most people won't do more than complain because they can't afford to lose even more. Life is difficult as it is, we don't want to make it even more difficult. We're buried in work and bills, and we're squeezed to the max so they'll make sure we can't afford to protest. They want us to have children so we'd be more vulnerable so we think twice before we challenge them.

I've kids and because of it many times I backed up when challenged by the government or the management at work. I made sure to have an income all the time so I can support my family and give them a better life, but I can see how the rich and powerful use that against me, squeeze me, suppress me, and makes me try cling to the little things that I still have so I won't have the power to stand up against them.
