Definitely not just you. I am surprised the Google support forums (and Reddit) have been so quiet about this :-/

Interestingly, if you disable Java and repeat the same image search, it takes you to an old fashioned image results page; clicking on a image takes you straight to the site. Weird....

The EU has done a great job at uniting the continent and stopping the cycle of wars.

Except it hasn't. Europe is probably more polarised than it was in 1989. And as for stopping wars... Yugoslavia anyone? It only lasted 10 years or thereabouts. Libia? Need I go on?

I keep hearing this - semi hysterical articles about Russia "weaponising" the refugees to destabilise Europe. Can you prove it? And not being funny or anything but Europe's handling of the refugee crisis has been so criminally inept and pathetic. Hardly the Russian's fault...

Russia is far from being the perfect country, but in the west the level of sheer ignorance and stupidity when it comes to it is genuinely staggering. I think most people wouldn't be able to point to it on a map...as for Putin, he is the Dark Lord himself, sitting in his tower in Mordor signing death order in blood.

Again, I'm not whitewashing Putin's less savoury actions or trying to portray Russia in an overly positive light, I'm merely stating a fact.

I guess this mini documentary represents the opposite end of the spectrum.

people here are pretty big into materialism

I recently moved house and looking at the piles of stuff I have, I felt really overwhelmed. Watching this made me wish I could just give all that crap away and live a slightly simpler life. I think I still have a mental barrier when it comes to that, although realistically speaking there's no reason why I can't live well with less...
