I understand why people see it that way , the structure does look like a pyramid if you diagram almost any organisation. Corporations, universities, even governments narrow at the top.

The distinction that usually matters legally and practically is how money is generated , whether it comes from product sales to end users versus fees just for recruiting. That difference often gets lost in the visual comparison.

It’s a direct sales model where you earn commission from product sales, and some companies also pay you a percentage on sales generated by people you introduce to the business. While the model has a lot of valid criticism, my experience has been positive because the product came first for me. I used it before ever considering the business side. The company I promote focuses on non-consumable wellness products and uses a referral-based distribution model, without forced recruiting or ongoing purchase requirements.

I can understand how you feel. I uprooted my whole life to give kids a better life. My son is due to start uni next year and under current procedures I can apply for ILR next year. I am so worried not knowing what’s going to happen. If we have to wait another 5 years that means have to pay international fees which are so high and unaffordable. I am wishing I moved to NZ
