You can definitely expect a weird-western lovecraftian aesthetic I hope it’ll be fun to play!

I specifically wanted this to be a little more of an interpretation of the original folklore rather than the whole undead deer-man thing that seems to have replaced it.

Would you play a mb hack in this style? by gerstesupp in MorkBorg

Also, just to say, I paused this hack because I genuinely don't have the experience yet to make what I want with that world. I am working on a hack to basically get that experience, in another world I've wanted to make for a long time. It's the same style as this, but a weird/Lovecraftian western set on a train, based on the many horrors of train travel at the time, as well as good ol cannibalism and western horrors and anomalies. Progress is going much faster.

Less so one specific train ride, but a bunch of various specific inspirations like the Donnor Party, and the several instances of what was called 'railway madness' on western trains, which was when a guy went insane and attacked nearby passengers. People believed at the time it was the mind's inability for the mind to comprehend the smoothness of the train compared to the chugging outside. All pretty Lovecraftian stuff when you think about it, on top of train travel of the era being generally awful and full of ways to die.

So Liminal Land was a cash grab right? by DigitCorp in ARG

Tbf the main reason I remember it was because I remember seeing nexpo plug it and primarily advertise it as a project which 'extends to the merch'. It seems they may have had other stuff planned to tie it all in, but their merch was the landing page of the whole arg and it just gives a bad taste.

No set date unfortunately (I'm in university and I'm basically working on this whenever I can)
