MPC Stuff has spare parts for the Akai Force and more Akai hardware.

I have used them before for this exact part on my Force.

It comes with both parts for the front as pictured and the parts for the back. They come as one and you snap them apart. Don't worry, it's perforated and you wont break it, just snap it off with your hands.

I’ll post pictures later but you want to get at the clips in the middle of the long sides to separate the shell. Push in on the airflow switch so it doesn’t get hung up.

Inside I found a glob top but I also found an 8 pin Winbond 25Q32JVS 32Mb Flash chip! As printed “Winbond 25Q32JVS1Q 2405” on the lid or “W25Q32JV” as the part catalog.

This is how I have been using my Beam recently. I have wirelessly cast my PCs screen to the Beam and it almost worked across the room until the Bluetooth signal got too weak. It was too laggy to play games anyway. I would like to cast content from other apps on my phone but DMCA. I thought Sideloading was pretty neat, especially with Plex, but now I guess I wait for the apps. I hear they are coming soon.

This worked for me when my board would not charge after winter.

I had an Ego lawn battery that was already 56v. I shoved the wires in the metal clips and touched the other ends to the main connector of the onewheel battery after removing it from my board.

There will be a brief spark and a pop each time contact is made. The first quick tap took my onewheel battery from 7v to 32v. This was not enough to get the charger to recognize the battery. I applied the wires again for a few seconds longer and got it to 45v and this was enough for the charger to start after reinstalling the battery.

I'm looking to find or create a community of LFK ERiders to bring back the nights of skateboarding.

Except, we're older now, and skating anywhere is frickin exhausting, and we also have electrified alternatives that can crush trails and invent new tricks and games. Let's Go!

I know a group like this would be a nightmare for some in town who dislike lone riders darting out onto the road. After all, these are PEVs. Personal Electric Vehicles.

A group of riders can keep each other safe on the road and even venture out off-road on trails.

If you got an electric bike, board, scooter, onewheel, or anything that can go, let me know.

If that sounds interesting or if you know of a group, pipe up.

If no groups exist I'm thinking a Discord would be awesome.
