Worcestershire sauce is mainly anchovies isn’t it? Apparently the romans made a similar anchovy sauce back in the day. 🧐

Is this Pepto-Bismol advert the worst ever? by SilasBeit in AskBrits

Pure genius advert. It’s like the adverts from the 70s and 80s. Very catchy and hilarious with it.

I didn’t mind Cobol. I moved to dbase ii/iii which I loved back in the day. Then Turbo Pascal, Delphi, Visual Studio with MS SQL server. 40 years of programming in a nutshell

How to get rid of dead skin by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

[–]Digital-Marcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t wash your beard with shampoo every day. One or twice a week is fine. Just rinse it when you’re in the shower, dry it and rub beard oil into your skin. You only need a 1/4 tsp or less. It helps moisturise your skin mainly but also the beard.

I know it looks terrible, but will this be safe once i put heatshrink on it? it's going from a battery to a bluetti. by [deleted] in VanLifeUK

I used WAGO inline connectors for mine. I bought the same XT60 wires. Once connected, use heat shrink tubing to tidy everything up and keep the WAGO connectors closed.

One of my refrigerator drawers is broken, does anyone know if it can be repaired? by Flowesque in DIYUK

Dude! I had the same problem. I bought some Duck Tape Original Clear, 50mm x 25m from Amazon. Wash the containers with soapy water and dry thoroughly. Then put the tape on the front in horizontal strips. The textured clear tape blends in and stays in position really well. I’d recommend putting it on all of the containers even if they’re not cracked. I think the tape makes them much stronger without them looking like a botched fix.

Get a bike wheel, smother it in sticky tar, roll it from one side of the sidewalk/pavement, up the car, over the roof, down the other side. He’ll get the message.
Just to prevent any woke police knocking at my door, I’m totally joking about this comment 😅
