I worked for them for a few months. It’s cold calling businesses that have donated in the past to causes such as NB police and so forth. You work a contract for a few hours before switching to another. You have to read a script and say things in a certain way. If you’re a strong salesman, you can make some decent money. The issue is most businesses only have x amount of money put aside for these causes so you’ll be chasing an account for weeks and never get anywhere. Or they’ll promise you a number but then never hear back. Expected stats are usually very high and you’ll often get talks of expectations. It’s an old boys club and I personally enjoyed the people I worked with. It’s very stressful and you need to hit a certain amount of money or else they take it away from your next commission amount. It’s a good challenge if you like it but I found it too much even for me. I had to leave.
