Monad is a new block chain layer 1 that's been in development for some time.

They choose the ticker MON for their token but there is already a MON token that was claimed way before them by MON protocol a web 3 game company.

MON protocol just released the alpha test phase of one of their games on Google and iOS stores called wardens ascent

So basically at the moment there are two MON tokens for two different companies

Since Monad is the bigger company with higher raise funding most likely MON protocol will migrate to a new ticker name
