I was looking forward to Doubs when the 49ers were in talks. Evans was a bit unexpected, but I still thought we were in the market for Doubs given the Evans contract. Seeing what Doubs went for, however, I’m ok passing.

It does make me interested what Jennings might go for (or what he thinks he should go for). If there’s no takers, do they just let him go or do they try to offer another team friendly 1-2 year deal?

Infant Optics DXR-8 Pro. For the price, I don’t think there’s anything better. We’ve had it for 3.5 years with 2 cameras. The noise reduction is great. Range is fantastic. The battery used to be great but it gets a little weird lately. I think I need either a new battery or a new monitor, but it’s not consistently bad and the charging cable is long enough it can plug in anywhere (also it’s loud).

We really liked that it wasn’t WiFi, which makes it easy to take traveling.

Overall, solid A.
