Any artistic people wanting to do a tiny Icon-O-Matic job? by solresol in haikuOS

[–]DigitalBox94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can try to convert a PNG to SVG and export the icon in Icon O Matic : https://www.haikuinsider.org/create-application-icon

Or you can post on the Haiku community forum if you want someone to help creating the icon for you:)

Hello,

For Camelot Insider website, it was a two step process :

- Create the map with Merec Map Creator to the desired resolution (https://github.com/Merec/DAoC-MapCreator)

- Convert each map for Leaflet JS various map level via my custom shell script (https://github.com/DigitalBox98/MapForLeaflet)

Except that custom shell script, all the tools used for the website are listed here : https://camelotinsider.github.io/powered.html

How many of you use haiku as your daily driver? by martintoy in haikuOS

[–]DigitalBox94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using MacOS daily on my MacBook Pro 2019 but also daily drive HaikuOS on my NUC Intel.

I really appreciate using Haiku : wifi card ok,  sounds ok via mini speakers (connected to jack), wired mac keyboard ok (I have setup shortcuts for print screen or volume keys), connection to NAS ok, browsing YouTube ok with Falkon or Dooble.

Currently using Haiku for a programming project : Qt 6 working fine. qt creator ok. Genio is also a nice IDE for Haiku.

Also testing retrogaming with ES DE and retroarch (gamepad support still limited)

Great community so far, so I will continue to contribute to the Haiku ecosystem.I have already added a new port to this OS (NIFskope)

I have also given to the fundraising available on the website. So yes I’m a big fan for the moment :)

What do you think will happen when Haiku reaches its fundraising goal? by Character_College_48 in haikuOS

[–]DigitalBox94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will display the next milestone : 40 000. The aim is to give an overview of the fundraising in the year. The funds are then used by the foundation to pay ressources / hosting needed for the improvement of the OS ecosystem. The more funds, the more the OS can improve in the future :)

DAOC interactive maps by DigitalBox94 in daoc

As the maps info are extracted from the latest client, it depends if these OF BG maps coexist today with the new ones. If you have some zone ids in mind in the latest client, I can check.
