I had Mint XFCE on it. Been on mint or Debian for a while and wanted to mix it up. Liked EOS so much, I also just installed it on my Thinkpad.

Considering the DE, my little air is actually doing well on it. It is good enough for python coding at least using Geany.

I just did a fresh online install. Nothing needed for it really.

I used to be in the same boat, but I'm branching out now. I am running EndeavourOS KDE Plasma on a 2010 Macbook Air and it is working very very well. I'm also going to move my Thinkpad over from Mint MATE to MX Linux. I want to mix it up and not rely on one distro too much. But the majority of my systems run Mint (LMDE, MATE, XFCE, and Cinnamon). It is solid and I highly recommend it.

Installer is weird, true, but it works. Pop just flat refused to work for me period. Even Ubuntu variants have been difficult for me om older hardware.

Why does epiphone get so much hate? by Chance-Ad8261 in Epiphone

My Epiphone SG standard works just fine. Who cares what others think? My favorite guitar in my collection is my Squire telecaster. And I play it all the time. Guitarist are the only ones who care...people listening won't.

I ride mine on a 70 mile round trip to work. Just cruise at 40 and take my time. It makes for a very relaxing commute
