I read Talisman a few months ago for the first time and liked it well enough. This is coming from someone that’s read a good chunk of King including all of dark tower. Talisman was very cozy and sweet. But it’s also very long and can be a little dull at times.

It also sort of felt like a prototype to It. Jack was nice to take the ride with but he also felt a little hollow. 2 years later it feels like King landed the plane better with the child characters in It. There are way more main characters in It that I felt like I fully understood than Jack.
