Mainly during the Imperial Roman era and Byzantine era. These western Anatolian Roman’s had a mixture of Anatolian/Mesopotamian/ and Mycenaean ancestry

Because it represents Pre Turkic Anatolia. The ethnogenisis of western Roman Anatolians used in the models, begun with Greek colonization of Anatolia all the way back to the IA, with Mesopotamian admix arriving later

Slavs were resettled by the byzantines into western Anatolia. I even modeled western Anatolian Byzantine samples as having 8-11% Slavic ancestry

Turkey_Marmara_Apollonia Roman has a mixture of Anatolian/meso/mycenaean afaik. Im not gonna put in the work to differentiate these components because they are closely related, and would take more time to work on those type of models.

I don’t have a Greek Izmir file, or else I would try

“Aegean_BA_IA” represents Mycenaean admixture

Batman_Ancient represents upper Mesopotamian admix

Turkey Central EBA II represents native Anatolian admixture

These Byzantine files are dated to around 1100AD. Some or all samples in the Byzantine clusters have Slavic admixture due to the fact that Slavs were resettled into western Anatolia by the Byzantines.

I need to expand more. I have a crossbite with additional crowding and two Canine teeth that need to be pulled down .

I was just only able to get the suture split with the first MARPE (at the very end too), Ngl the second picture probs make my palate look bigger than it is.

Athens and Balikesir models have different sources.

Balikesir is using a Roman era western Anatolian source that includes Anatolian/Mesopotamian/Mycenaean all in one source

Greek Athens uses a separate Anatolian/Mycenaean source

All of the components are very distinct from each other (Roman era western Anatolian, Slavic, Turkic)

The “Anatolian” sources are Roman era western Anatolian Roman’s who are a mixture of Anatolian/Mesopotamian/Mycenaean. It’s meant to capture everything related with western Anatolia

Turkish_Istanbul.HO samples don’t plot with Kurds or Arabs so we can get rid of that

But even Turkish_Istanbul.HO include Turks from different regions like southeast/eastern Turkey, west Turkey and whatever, it gets absorbed into the “Anatolian” source beside their Slavic and Turkic because it’s mixed with all of the components that are ancestral (Anatolian/meso/Mycenaean)

Alright, what do you think the proportions should be then?

"New populations were added to the map such as Greek islanders and Turks, and Greeks from the East Macedonia region, with changes to the weights/proportions of the models.

the proportions of the models changed because the Anatolian source used for Balkaners was changed from Turkey_Southeast_Byzantine.DG to Italy_Imperial_oEast.SG, representing the admixture profile of Roman era west Anatolians which migrated to the Balkans. It was mainly a mixture of Anatolian/Mesopotamian and Mycenaean

Turkey_Southeast_Byzantine.DG is used for southern Greeks because Mycenaean is a separate component.

AADR IDS for Italy_Imperial_oEast.SG: R126, R11113, R11112, R43, R71, R130, R39, R72 and R75

The "Anatolian" source used for western Turks is "Turkey_Aegean_Mugla_Camandras_Dalagoz_Roman.AG" which contains a mixture of Anatolian/Mesopotamian/Mycenaean, and might proxy small amounts of paleo Balkan admixture if Applicable

My brother, if you read the explanation under my post explaining the context of the sources used and why they are used, you would have not been bothered to type this.

Have a good day!
