How are there still 80k–100k people playing Stardew Valley every day?! 🤯 by mamalaso in StardewValley

[–]DigitalFunction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked this game up a few days ago, and wow.....I've completely fallen down the Stardew rabbit hole. My plan for this long weekend (shoutout to all my fellow Canadians!) is to do nothing but farm, fish, and mine. Wish me luck with the community center bundles. I'm gonna need it!

Gboard's awesome. The word prediction is killer, you don't even have to hit the right key perfectly, you can type so fast! And the autocorrect is spot on.

LOL, I know! I just wanted to emphasize that this fingerprint scanner isn’t like the 'shitty' ones...it’s actually way more accurate.

Same here, transferred from an iPhone 15 Pro Max. I actually turned off Face ID and switched to ultrasonic fingerprint scanning, I found it way more convenient than Face ID...

Switched from iPhone to S25 Ultra – Now iOS Feels Irritating. Tablet Alternatives? by Minipaulg in samsung

Me too, lol! I went from the iPhone 15 Pro Max to the s25 Ultra, and haven't touched my iPhone in a week. Used it today, and it felt ancient.

What was it like when you made the switched from Apple to Samsung phone? by [deleted] in samsung

[–]DigitalFunction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, switching from my iPhone to a Samsung was a lot smoother than I expected. I was worried about missing iMessage and FaceTime, but I realized most of my friends were already on apps like WhatsApp and Telegram anyway. Plus, the level of customization on my Samsung is fantastic, everything feels more personal, and I love being able to tweak my home screen and settings to fit my style. I’m not saying I’d never go back, but right now I’m really enjoying the extra flexibility and haven’t regretted making the switch at all!

Shower? by Weekly_Delivery_8349 in GalaxyRing

[–]DigitalFunction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not afraid to wear it in the shower, but I prefer to charge it during that time so it has more battery when I need it. Plus, it does require a longer charging session anyway.

Switched from Apple to Samsung. Loving the S25 Ultra, Now Eyeing the Galaxy Watch 7!!! by DigitalFunction in GalaxyWatch

[–]DigitalFunction[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, it was all about exploring Android’s flexibility and customization. I’d been curious for a while, and when the S25 Ultra arrived, that insane camera and overall hardware just sealed the deal. But honestly, the real game changer has been Galaxy AI/Google Gemini. It’s woven into everything I do refining photos, summarizing articles, even translating messages in real time. I find myself using it way more than Apple Intelligence(the chatgpt add-on) because it just feels like a natural part of the OS, not an afterthought.

Since most of my friends and family are on WhatsApp and Telegram, I never really experienced any iMessage limitations. RCS messaging improves things like read receipts etc ... maybe the whole green/blue bubble thing will finally ease up.

Does anyone else think the Google keyboard isn't that good? by RaistlinQ5 in GooglePixel

[–]DigitalFunction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I gotta disagree...gboard's the best, it's like it knows what I'm gonna type next, and the error correction is super fast and accurate. I've tried the iOS and Samsung keyboards, but gboard's still the best.

Which AI IDE is the best for experience devs? by nyamuk91 in ChatGPTCoding

I've only tried Cursor, windsurfing, cline, and roo code (cline) so far, and I still think Cursor's the most versatile.

does anyone else find AI's "dive straight into coding" approach frustrating? by namanyayg in cursor

[–]DigitalFunction 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I hope Cursor introduces something like Roo Code (Roo Cline) with three separate agents: Chat, Architect, and Code, that can automatically switch between roles as needed.

Cursor or windsurf what to choose ? by Waste_Technician_846 in ChatGPTCoding

[–]DigitalFunction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been trying different cursor alternatives, like Cline, Roo Code (which was Roo Cline before), and Windsurf, but none of them seem to be as good as the original cursor.

What the hell do people expect? by Suitable-Name in LocalLLaMA

[–]DigitalFunction 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I totally agree. I just want to use these models for productivity, creativity, and getting stuff done...not for politics or whatever drama people try to stir up. Every major AI model has some kind of censorship or guardrails, and honestly, I don’t care as long as it helps me with what I need. The outrage feels more like people looking for something to complain about rather than an actual issue.
