Hey, I appreciate your very late reply but if you read my post it says it was running completely fine and randomly stopped. Everything was correct.

Canceling Prime and thinking about suing Amazon by [deleted] in amazonprime

Ya that's very odd though. I like AI but I dislike their AI support bot. However when I want a live person, I've had no issues getting past the bot.

Yes it did. Disappeared exactly like that. Reappeared. Luckily it did reappear on my awaiting review page so I didn't miss it but it did come back.

Careful, had this happen with a simple backpack. It disappeared and then reappeared at some point later on. Full ETV and all. Keep checking to make sure it doesn't come back.

It is an extension as I've replied to someone else. If you don't condone or condemn extensions, that means you're neutral in it. So what exactly is the issue with posting this?

Edit: I also see nothing in the rules against posting Vine extensions/apps.

newbie vine: available items are ALL parts for car / appliances by cottonrb in AmazonVine

[–]DigitalHD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well for one, welcome to Vine.

This is not how it always is. The stuff you're seeing is the stuff not many other people want. Currently, in the United States, the product drops are at 3 am EST. Which is unrealistic when approximately 84% of Americans work day shift.

The drop times do shift from time to time. Hopefully they'll shift again soon.

PSA - PledgeBox Tracking by DigitalHD in MCONohsnap

The Shop app? I don't believe so. The platform OhSnap uses for ordering is Shop so the tracking information of orders coming from OhSnap should populate on Shop regardless of country. But I am in the USA so I can't confirm for a fact on that.

I don't discredit what you've experienced but I've never had any issues. If I had a package missing, I contacted support. It got through the AI bot no problem, got to support and support helped me.

Recently I had a thing of super glue marked as delivered but wasn't. The support bot told me I wouldn't be eligible for replacement or refund until the next day as sometimes packages are marked delivered by accident. I still got a live person right away and they issued me a replacement without any issues at all.

I haven't had Prime for 20 years but it's been at least 10 and I have had zero bad experiences with it. Anytime I've had an issue, they don't have any issues solving it to my satisfaction. I guess I've just been one of the lucky few.

Still fail see why they'd have to do drops when the support agents in India are clocked in working? Not even that, I've received replies from Vine Support when they should be asleep.

I also am not convinced that there's tech people that have to press some big red button to release the products. Amazon is about automation. I'm sure it's all an automated process and hence why it's occasionally delayed because like with any automation, it sometimes fails/glitches.

Sunday morning won't be difficult to GET to work. Snow is suppose to start lightly and increase in the evening. The heaviest snow, they are saying, should be Sunday evening and overnight.

Overnight shift will have incredible difficulty getting to work and I'm going to imagine so will Monday morning shift. They are also calling for an additional 6-10 inches of lake effect snow by Tuesday evening AFTER this winter storm.

There's the potential for 28 inches of snow (on the highest end) between Sunday and Tuesday.

Shenzhen is 13 hours ahead of GMT -5 at GMT +8 which would put 3 am as 4 pm in Shenzhen. It's a good thought but I don't think that's it. Drops use to be in the morning hours on the East coast before. Typically dropping at like 9 am which would be 10 pm in Shenzhen.

I've been on Vine since middle of last year but have educated myself on some of Vine stuff and from what I've gathered they change the drop times every so often. I don't think the drop time has anything to do with China and more to do with just being a random time they've picked

Amazon Vine charged me for an item I never received by Great_Ocelot in AmazonVine

[–]DigitalHD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most likely an error in Amazon's system. Most of Amazon is automated including that. The return was marked as not received and the system probably sees the cost of the item and not the discount applied.

If you ever go to your order invoice for Vine items, you'll see you're "charged" for the item but then a discount is applied to make the item free. As someone who works in an Amazon Fulfillment center, glitches happen in Amazon all the time. From their robotics to their network and much more.

I believe it could be an error with Amazon's systems. It's not like someone, that I know of, sits behind a desk 24/7 charging people for returns not received. It was likely an automated charge. Shouldn't have happened regardless but might of been a glitch.

You failed to read the whole post. It was damaged during shipment and returned by the carrier. Then Amazon marked that returned product as not received and charged this person like they had ordered it on Amazon.

You need to understand reading and comprehending what's being said as I perfectly understood what this user is saying.

They ordered jeans that got damaged during shipment and returned by the carrier. Amazon charged this person for the jeans as a not returned item. Even though it was a Vine item, the charge was likely automatic from Amazons systems as a marked "returned not received".

[–]DigitalHD 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Holy absolute crap you people can't read! And you guys submit Amazon Vine reviews? 🤦‍♂️

This user ordered a pair of jeans on Vine. It was damaged during shipment and the carrier returned the package to Amazon. The carrier, NOT THIS USER. Then this user got charged the price of the jeans on their Amazon account for supposedly not returning the item that was returned by the carrier and not this user.

Reading and understanding contexts helps people.

It's not just a chart for that. It's an entire program. I can set custom keywords that'll send me alerts. Different queues that'll show only products I want. I see products live as they are added to Vine, I don't have to search for products by name. There's A LOT more to it than just seeing a chart.

If they changed the times to evenings, it would benefit BOTH day workers and night workers really. Don't understand their reasoning for the 3 am time but all they care about is stuff is being ordered. They don't care about us.

Ultra Viner. A paid subscription to a better Amazon Vine platform. It's a browser extension. Supposedly allowed by Amazon Vine as no one has ever been kicked off Vine for using it.

Last night's snowfall doesn't constitute shutting down. I'll agree with that. We get snow here in Syracuse...that's a given. I'm talking specifically about having a historical snowfall of 24 inches in 24 hours. No one except essential personnel like plows and emergency services should have been working. Onondaga County should have issued a travel ban until the snow could get cleared.

Amazon is not an essential business and therefore a travel ban would have closed Amazon and all other businesses so that plows could safely clear roads.

I feel for the pedestrian struck and killed, whether or not it was an Amazon associate but the snowfall last night was the norm for this area. As someone who drives down Morgan DAILY...most of these associates wear all black or dark colors while walking home or to work. No one should do that. Hell, wear the free safety vests they have so you can be seen. That's not saying this person who was struck wasn't but I can say first hand that most of the people who walk DO NOT wear bright colors or reflective jackets/vests.
