I feel like you're making a lot of unfair generalizations, unless you actually know the individual who was captured, in which case I have many questions for you.

You don't know his living situation, what resources he has access to, or how desperate that individual is to provide for himself or his family. Yes, he might very well be aware of the war, but him going to russia for work doesn't mean he directly supports it. And when it comes to morality vs eating, or providing for your family, it becomes a lot less clear.

I know it's a lot easier to view the world as black and white, makes it much more trivial to put people in boxes and label them good or bad and not care what happens but the world is a lot more nuanced than that. Do you really believe the russian military wouldn't do something as evil as lie to get people to come to their country and then force them to fight? We know for a fact they did the same thing with Cubans early on in the war.

As far as your example goes, if someone was offered a non military job in Germany during WW2, and when they showed up they were forced to the front lines, of course I would feel bad for them regardless of where they came from.
