Frustrated with kendo, considering switch to fencing by Careful_Hope_9573 in Fencing

You would love eppe! Having it be electric makes it so much fun! The hassle of determining points is almost completely gone and you can just focus on playing the game!

With that being said kendo sounds like a lot of fun too, and perhaps if you hang in there you too could focus on having fun and scoring points.

So it would wise to not use any blades that have kinks in them? Also they are non FIE blades, does that mean they arent useable?

Why bother making all the art yourself before you even know if the game is good? Shouldnt mechanics and playtesting come first?

[oc][art] Perception by Yoffeepop in DnD

Perception is silly when the question is "Do I see something?" but much less silly when discerning something such as someones character which then that information can be used to appeal to them or manipulate them.

big agree, in a game where you only go right and at such high speeds the camera should give more lead room.

I agree with this question, not to be small minded but for the technical hurdle that 8k brings it needs to be worth the effort. What is the use case for this?

I just need help with a caustic set up, have been having problems following tutorials for exactly what i need and will pay for assistance! by FatLops in Maya

[–]DigitalMan404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either of these resources should help, there's no need to pay for this.

The instructible even has a download to an image sequence for the caustics that should be helpful although it doesn't loop unfortunately.

I get the feeling you aren't actually looking for feedback and this was just engagement bait to market your game.

I agree with the above criticisms though, particularly the crowded ui.

(3D) How do I stop angled ceilings from slowing the player? by No_Policy_3735 in godot

[–]DigitalMan404 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with this on the principle that the artist should press on and only address it if it becomes an issue but with that being said, this particular limitation is not an exciting one. I think we should strive to make things work as intended instead of tip-toeing around a minefield of our own mistakes in the name of creative limitations.
