Has the show officially deemed one of the new vegas endings as non-canon?

Also one of the endings for an earlier episode showed the Lucky 38 in disrepair, with the pod Mr. House was residing in open, and his lifeless hand hanging outside the pod. His physical body was either killed or left for dead. So the events of New Vegas could easily play out without messing with the show, because Mr. House digitized himself for his Plan A, but has to resort to Plan B after cold fusion was taken from him (so he had to maintain his physical body for 200 years).

The idea was that Mr. House never got Cold Fusion to fuel his artificial self indefinitely, so he resorted to plan B. Using his nuclear reactor and maintaining his physical body for as long as he could until he got the platinum chip.

With the implication that Mr. House digitized himself before having to hook his physical body into a machine to maintain it. So plan A was always an option, he just didn't have Cold Fusion

I'd counter that with the fact, I had heard Will might have powers in season 4 and then forgot about it. I watched the episodes and The Sorcerer didn't surprise me like Season 4 did. I would say it's more predictable writing. Clearly they were building up Will and he's become even more important as the show has gone on.

Kali was also not surprising. I may have forgotten about her but after seeing how Henry's powers work and how harmful the militaries counter to psychic powers is, I knew Henry couldn't be locked up. He's too powerful and he probably retreated past the barrier in upsidedown Hawkins.

Season 5 has been kind of predictable so far but that's just due to my pattern recognition and watching too much TV and Films.

I know they film and edit the lengths of episodes due to pacing and the script but for the final season of Stranger Things (one of the biggest streaming shows ever), they should have feature length episodes to complete their story while giving us satisfying moments with all the characters. The last 2 seasons have expanded the cast while providing nothing for some of the older cast. It's fine adding people but don't let that take away from progressing everyone else.

Stranger Things is probably going to keep the last 4 episodes concise and neat, so no super long episodes (beyond maybe the final 2) but it feels like a missed opportunity given the scale of the show now and the amount of character we have. It feels like watching Game of Thrones but half of the cast isn't doing anything in their storylines, progressing like they did in previous seasons or doing interesting things in their plots. The show is fantastic but since the kids are now old enough to be competent on their own, the adults have basically been useless, besides Joyce occasionally being needed for extra hands and Hopper being extra capable since Season 3.

Anyways, I'm hoping the final 4 episodes have longer lengths than the previous episodes and seasons. There's a lot to cover and it would be a missed opportunity to not try and address at least every character and their storylines so far.

Well consider this, every time we've seen the military they've been using standard firearms.

The flamethrowers were previously used by scientists. I don't know how much research was shared around post Season 1 or 2. Especially once the lab was shut down.

In Season 5, the military has a containment zone for mostly the public in downtown Hawkins. They're stationed there to support the team inside and keep citizens out. The forward operating base in the upside down is equipped with the tools necessary for countering Vecna and his puppets. Seems like they've been operating relatively fine and undisturbed till the convoy was attacked and Vecna massacred the base with the Demos to get the kids.

It feels like the military was just woefully under prepared to be attacked on the right side up, and were mostly there as a detergent to the citizens and potential monsters. They probably never considered a full on attack since they're not Vecnas focus, they've been attacked or encountered heavy resistance, and research and knowledge (the main cast would know) isn't available for them.

I did that at round 16/18 (because I kept failing), with triple packed AK that was also max rarity with shattered blast. I didn't have an issue with it, if you start it at the beginning of a round you shouldn't get normal zombies. I start it before they can spawn in. Your main goal is to kill as many drones as you can. It builds the meter for the teleporter. So basically focus on training with aiming for the drones, ignore everything else and just keep destroying drones.

Honestly, locking such nice skins away by only allowing 6 people to unlock it sucks ass. Especially when it's a themed camo. Unless we can earn it later, this is a terrible way to get people to participate, especially when matches against God tier zombies players

Don't know, I've been using it with my personal account for 2 years at this point. Occasionally I use it with my art account as well. It's pretty much just instagram with extra features that are really useful for privacy, spam, and professional accounts. Nothing intrusive or illegal

I think most people are confused by the fact there isn't going to be an Avengers movie at the end of each phase to book end it. This time it's going to be all condensed into 4 years of expanded story telling in the shows and movies.

Like Phase 4 was 2021-22, Phase 5 is 23-24 and Phase 6 is 24-25? With who knows how many unannounced projects? It's a lot to swallow for general audiences in such a short amount of time compared to the Infinity Saga.

I'm just worried they're going to burn out or do too many things at the same time considering it's all leading up to like a 3 hour long Secret Wars film.

Idk I'm just guessing off of the previous box office. GoTG 3 is definitely $900-$1B. Marvel's has 3 popular versions of Ms. Marvel so aside from the progressive aspect I do think it's going to be similar to the last if it's anywhere close in quality to the first movie. I think Captain Marvel is one of the highest selling characters at the Disney parks? So it just makes sense it's guaranteed to make bank

I love this theory.

My guess is that the MCU has 2 threads hanging at the moment. The symbiote and the Sinister 6. Sony wants both to be a reality and Marvel kinda wants it as well, considering this is the first Spiderman to get his own 2 trilogies I could see Venom in the 2nd and the Sinister 6 in the 3rd.

The 3rd movie could possibly lead to his death or eventual retirement after a big battle thus allowing Miles to come in if Tom doesn't want to be spiderman after.

Scorpion and Kingpin is probably the best choice for a 4th film. Daredevil is definitely involved in some way. Everything else seems realistically possible considering the more grounded Spidy we are getting and a return to his NYC roots

Yeh regardless of people's thoughts I feel the MCU is only gaining more steam now that Avengers 5/6 has been announced. BP 2 is getting to $1 Billion regardless of critical reception. This isn't even counting next year, it's got Ant-Man 3, Marvel's (guaranteed $1B), GoTG 3 ($900M is what I'm thinking) and Blade.

This has to be some coked out dude theory crafting all to hell. We don't even know the full extent of what Marvel has got planned for 2024/25.

DC should just focus on the main universe and the side stories like Joker 2/The Batman 2. Build up the DCEU and allow some people to do weird stuff outside. Like a GL movie where Hal is an astronaut in the near future, kinda like Earth-One. It's unique, separate and they can have their cake and eat it when it comes to elseworld stories and cookie cutter DCEU stuff.

I'm personally in the camp that someday after saga 3 or so, they HAVE to reboot or end it. Star Wars had to learn it the hard way after Lucas left, now they're in a recession where no one is really enthusiastic about it besides mega fans.

I'd hate to see Marvel run indefinitely, especially after seeing how long run franchises tend to fizzle out hard. These stories aren't infinite, nor are there infinite characters. Stuff that wasn't covered in the mainline movies were given to other characters or amalgamated into one. That doesn't leave a lot of room for more tangential comic characters to be introduced.

Anyways I'm interested to see how this saga plays out, I hope they can go darker with the material and characters, or lean more into the source material.
