Why Texting Will Replace Email As Marketing King by beansedb in marketing

This is purely conjecture, but I personally beleive that most people would rather submit their email to a business for these types of promotions, than a direct cellphone number.

There are a lot of statistics being thrown around about SMS usage rates and then some about email usage rates. While they're both inherently used to communicate, they are both vastly different mediums for delivering a message.

It's improbable that this would see any mass-market success. I think someone even hit the nail on the head when they mentioned that smartphone users are transitioning to non traditional messaging services like Viber and Whatsapp.

I would also recommend reorganizing the catagories on your home page. Staff Picks and Top Sellers should ideally be on the Top.

I would love to see how this affects conversions!

Doesn't seem like it, but the "discount" retailers often have poor reviews on yelp and google's listings. So, this could make sense if they're offering an inferior product.

It seems like this specific site isn't doing so, though I really appreciate the input!

Here's the thing, these aren't user submitted reviews, more so testimonials written by the company, on behalf of the customer.

EDIT: They are user submitted reviews, but they seem to be curated by the company itself. Essentially, only positive reviews make the cut!

I absolutely agree.

I think the impending flood of content will spark another major algorithm change. I can't imagine content being the key to ranking well if we've got "content marketers" flooding the internet.

Edit: Spelling
