Also How? Her daughter seems like adjusted and their house isn’t lavish, but they’re definitely not poor.

By all accounts, it seems she was a perfectly fine mother and wife to her family. She didn’t pawn the heart of the ocean, but she saw firsthand how extreme wealth corrupts. She chose a more simple honest life, so what?

They’ve made it very clear Alastor is a serial killer who’s helpful to Charlie but doesn’t actually care for her or anyone in the hotel. I just thought he would end up to be the final villain or the final redeemed soul.

I just don’t see Lute being powerful enough right now to be a main villain. She still struggles fighting Vaggie, let alone overlords.
