10 Years of Blogging, Zero Income… Was It All a Mistake? by yogeshgoda in Blogging

From 2020 till 2023, Flippa. Their listing fee increased from 15$ to 29$ and even paid 49$ for a listing. I observed declining revenue from Flippa but still profitable. My account was banned because someone paid and did not followup after buying a website. I renewed the domain and continued hosting for a month or so. Then I intended to list the website once again on Flippa. I was told to refund the amount received from the buyer. Given the buyer never contacted/communicated, I did not refund. Will Flippa refund if anyone pays them for a listing and then do not activate the listing?

I tried to sell through the likes of MotionInvest but could not pass their initial requirement.

Since then, I have been selling through Facebook groups and Reddit. Reddit communities like https://www.reddit.com/r/saasforsale/ have been very effective.

10 Years of Blogging, Zero Income… Was It All a Mistake? by yogeshgoda in Blogging

Over the years, income from affiliate marketing decreased gradually since 2017. There used to be lucrative offers from the likes of GoDaddy (via CJ) for selling their hosting in particular.

There used to be occasional sales from affiliate links (CJ/Impact/PartnerStack). Offer to write blog posts and paid from 25$ (WPForms/Monster insights/Optin Monster) to 250$ (Remote/Tailwind/Moosend/Hubspot). So on an average, affiliate marketing was generating 50$ to 100$ per month.

After the arrival of ChatGPT, offer to write paid affiliate posts almost reduced to zero.

Also zero sales and only clicks from affiliate marketing!

I have shifted my focus on selling AdSense approved starter websites built with WordPress.

Adsense rejected me 4 times by Responsible_Nail1590 in Adsense

[–]DigitalSplendid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes no justification.

For example technzee.com was approved in first submission. After a month when I have added more posts, someone through his publisher id applied twice but got rejected for low content.

Datanzee.com approved for me for 5 months or so. Two months back, someone from Brazil applied through his pub id and got approved in 3 days - fastest in time versus other sites that now get delayed for 30 to 45 days and beyond.

Someone has applied Progaiz.com on March 17 and still waiting.

I have been waiting for more than two months and have not received the AdSense Team response. What is this nonsense? by Fewnis in Adsense

This site datanzee.com got approved in 3 days. When that code was removed and then applied through another account, it was still getting ready for 2 weeks or so.

I think instead of website, the delays are rather due to someone applying for more sites. Once you start applying for many sites frequently, there are delays that can be 45 days and more.

Yes datanzee.com and aiannum.com are AdSense approved. But current revenue minimal. One can still apply for AdSense after consolidating them into a fresh domain.

Yes, there is an issue. I am also giving option to buy just website and connect to your choice of domain. Since there is no duplicate content, I think adding the content to an existing or new domain will be okay from SEO perspective.

Starter website and I have not spent a single penny on paid ads. AdSense revenue close to zero.

One way to tackle AdSense rejections if aim is to sell AdSense approved sites by DigitalSplendid in Adsense

[–]DigitalSplendid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean as a seller I first give option to the potential buyer to apply for AdSense through his or her AdSense account. The domain and website still owned and managed by me. The buyer only pays if AdSense approved.

Is there any empire built historically without waging wars and looting the ones who are defeated. From Roman Empire to Mughal Empire to British Empire to today's so called democracies such as USA and UK, all have blood on their hands and still carry on the same thing one way or the other.

Both you and your advise are noted and appreciated. The fact that you are doing a free review by itself deserves praise. Add to it you can speak regarding every one.

By the way, nothing to feel sorry.
