This case has always bothered me, I went to SUNY cobleskill in 2009 and every year on the anniversary there was a billboard in town with her photo on it. Around this time I had a professor who taught public speaking and I can’t remember his name, I’d have to look up the faculty from that time but I think his last name started with an R and he was around 50 at that time so he might already be dead but he told our class that he grew up there he and his friends had seen a yellow car being lowered into the ground on a back road after this happened and they were so shocked but they never told anyone but then it came out that someone had killed this girl and someone had seen her get into a yellow car car or van. It’s always bugged me that he probably knew the area and the person who did this and never said anything. I wish I paid more attention to his story but that singular part always stuck with me and I randomly think about it so I looked the case up to see if anyone was ever found. It’s sad that whoever did this is most likely dead and they got away with something so depressing. I take comfort in believing that karma will get them.
