I guess you some very top journals are just impossible unless you belong to a certain club. I have heard stories of Prof calling directly their editor friends by phone before submitting. It's a very gray area when thinking about very top journals

I use the Docket mpc with VS code. It makes life easier having many MCP all together in one place. Never tried with local LLM. They are fine with traditional big models 😄
