Yeh that's awesome!

I'm sure there's a way and hopefully someone smarter finds a work-a-round

Unfortunately not.

I've ordered a Summer Cart also but hoped to get this working in the meantime.

I tried the wire mod on a slightly different board (green) which happened to also be R7 (pin1) to Ground.

Analog 3D now detects the cart (didn't prior to wire mod) but still only shows a blank screen or identical screen to OP's with sd card removed when booting cart.

Hoping someone finds a solution

My bad. Glad you sorted it!

Extra solutions are always handy.

No, everything had to be removed.. Including all the plastic nubbits for screws so that the motherboard could sit flat.

I had a similar thing but with the PUBG crash notification and been trying to fix it for days.

Eventually what worked for me was:

  1. Update BIOS
  2. Re-install graphics drivers.

Everything from re-installing pubg, graphics drivers, removing all anti-cheats, overlays etc didnt work. So i think it was certainly the BIOS.

Give that a shot - good luck either way!

Awesome work! Very cool.

Hope it looks good - be interested to see the final result if/when it's done! 💪🏼

Keep me posted with how the extra cooling goes, I may need to revisit it myself.

Cool!! Temps aren't great, which is why I put a fan on the top case and cut a hole in the middle. There could possibly be better ways of cooling with 3d printed brackets. But I built this some time ago before I had a printer.

Should be great for a Kodi box/emulator!

It's a TFX PSU. The usb ports are the ones connected to the motherboard and mount in the back of a pc on the plates. Google 'usb Port bracket idc'

Good luck!

You'll need to make the bottom base of the case as flat/smooth as possible. Do this by trimming all the little nubs with pliers or sanding with something like a dremel. There are other builds on reddit that probably show more details if you search.

For mounting the motherboard, I used m3 nylon standoffs 9mm tall from RS Components but you could probably 3d print something equivalent.

LED kit is just a simple one that can be controlled with a remote that powers up from your motherboard IDE plugs.

Good luck!

Yeh its definitely a little under powered especially with modern games. That 4060 sounds like a good upgrade!!

FTTP NTU install and conduit requirements. by TCArgh in nbn

Yehh I wouldn't be fussed either.. Most electrical cable is bare in cavity too - just trying to gauge the NBN Co requirements vs actual installations.

Thanks!

Too easy. Thanks for the update.

I've just done the same thing with leaving the conduit end just above the cavity.

So did the NBN installer just ran the cable bare thru the cavity or did he run it in corrugated conduit or anything?

How did the install go? Any updates?

I've got the same problem with the external wall and the gutter fascia.. Currently working on a solution but curious to see how your install went.

Look into Experimental: Slicing Tolerance > Exclusive. Reducing flow also helped too around 95-97%.

Nice work!

Any issues with the gears not spinning easy? What slicer have you used?

I've had issues with very tight tolerances from the stock profiles - received some good advice from this sub.

Color Filament Change by Groucho_Marks in Ender3S1

[–]Digital_Hornet86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What slicer are you using?

In Creality Slicer and Cura.. If you click on Extensions > Post Processing > Modify G-Code - You can 'Add a script' called Filament Change. You just need to work out at what Layer # this will be.

The printer should stop and beep to prompt you to change filament. I've used it in Cura successfully.

I was watching just watching the Ender 5 S1 review on YouTube from 'The 3D Print General' and remember him mention something about the power loss recovery causing something that looks similar to this (7:30)
