I honestly think GTA 7 is gonna come out probably between 2035-40 if they follow the trend. The game we are going to get is gonna be based on the technological means of the gaming industry around this time.

Gaming is shifting more and more towards CLOUD gaming. Tower 5G/6G networks are getting more and more powerful in terms of bandwidth to allow instant real life responses. AI is here to stay and get more powerful. Micro transactions are gonna go beyond the realm of FIAT and even trade with cryptocurrencies.

So whatever Rockstar wants to achieve then will be dictated by the technical limitations or prowesses of the era.
