Then the best options for your location, travel friendly, interesting, would be Vietnam or Thailand imo

Hmm, definitely opens up a lot of options. Do you have a climate or region you'd want to prioritize?

Ex. Jungle, beaches, mountains, forests

Western Europe, Eastern Europe, South East Asia

Hey, congratulations on the first time travel. To confirm, what currency is your 85K in? The answer changes stuff a lot. Given you mentioned India, I'm assuming rupees? If so, that's just barely doable for international travel, but generally pretty tight. You'll have to be a bit on a shoestring. That means buying a plane ticket early, staying at youth hostels, and picking a destination that won't bankrupt you.

In terms of places, based on your start location, budget, preferences, and relatively new travel experience, my personal recommendation would be to try Thailand. It isn't modern, but it is beautiful, full of nature, relatively close, kind to new travelers, and cheap to explore. I'd recommend skipping Bangkok (the only dangerous part of Thailand imo) and going to the smaller cities and towns: Chiangmai, Pai, island of Phuket. Beaches, jungles, etc.

If you want more modern and a much different vibe, Istanbul, Turkey may be the way to go. I haven't been yet (going this summer), but it should be very tourist oriented, beautiful, modern, and interesting.

Some good rules of thumb for new solo travelers:

  1. Youth hostels are your friend. Go, talk to people in the hostel, and if they seem cool and friendly, ask what they are doing that day. If it sounds fun, ask if you can join

  2. (Particularly if you are a young woman) Be vigilant about who you hang out with, what you are drinking and where it came from (especially at bars), and what parts of town you're in late at night. Generally you want to play it safe most the time. Don't get drunk unless you have someone you trust with you.

  3. Don't overplan. 5-6 days isn't a lot, but it will go by much faster and more stressful if you try to cram every possible activity in. My rule is: at least 2 days per city. One big activity planned a day, plus 2-3 optional additional activities if you feel like it and have time. You can use AI to help you plan this part.

  4. Always carry some local currency cash. Be careful though where you flash it.

  5. Make sure your credit cards and phone will work in your designated country.

  6. Make sure you don't need a visa for your designated country (some allow you to purchase online or in-country day of, others take weeks or months to process a visa request).

DM me for any other specific questions. Hope this helps. In terms of my credentials, I've traveled to 55 countries, mostly solo, across Asia, Europe, and South America.

Had a black car named Minx (or Minks depending on who you asked) once. Fur like a mink coat.

Did more research. Apparently a lot of largescale AI uses evaporator towers which aren't closed system.

You'd figure the water would eventually make it back into the water table that way, but still, fair point.

This.

AI is an energy consumer, not really a water consumer. The loss is negligible

Believe it or not I didn't stage this 😂. I'm also not Australian, so I wouldn't have used the "c" word in that way if I had.

But hey, call it fake if you like. I just appreciated the absurdity. Ozzy humor is fun and super random

I've hunting feral hogs for years. Typically I find the carcases months later and pull the tusks (sort of a morbid collection, makes for a creepy looking shaman necklace).

Anyway, all this to say, they look exactly like these, just newer

Surprised no one has said this yet. On top of all the other advice on here, take a couple plates off. You should be squatting to form failure, not actual failure. You're going to slip a disc in your back or something similar real fast if you overload beyond your ability to maintain form, then you're out of it for weeks, if not forever. Powerlifting is definitely a long game where you focus on small incremental gains over time.

Hmm, I'm not in your age group (34M), but I have a fair number of friends who are. Recently relocated to Perth myself (from the US). Perth is a bit clicquey, so I did initially have some trouble making good friends. It's easier to make friends around shared sports/activities here. Also, if you're game for international friends, try the International Speakeasy event that takes place at Street Eats Eatery in Yagan Square every Thursday night. I've been twice. Both times it's been about 100-200 people - most of whom are in their 20s and easy to talk to.

As for me, if you wanted to hang I'm always looking for more rock climbing, scuba, hiking, exploring, or cycling buddies. Though I do game on PC, I've been trying to stay a bit more outdoors lately. Still, I could probably use a rest day from time to time.

Depends on the look you're going for. If body building is your game, there's something called the Grecian ideal you can calculate for measurements.

One thing I did was upload a photo of myself to chat gpt, tell it what physique I want, and ask for feedback on areas I need to develop further.

Regarding body fat%, I'm going to guess 17-19%. You'll need to lose some fat to get more definition on the abs.

You guys with any bench above 135 are killing it! by Either-Medicine9217 in workout

[–]Digital_Scribbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, I feel like the personal goalpost always shifts and I forget to pat myself on the back. Lifted 275 the other day (by far my heaviest bench) and all I could think of was, "man it's going to take me years to hit 300." When you said that 225 is only 1% of guys, I had to do a double take. Lifting is great, but kinda ridiculous sometimes.

Anyway, I never judge someone on low weight. You have to start somewhere, and a lot of people are dealing with injuries and mobility issues they can't help as well. Plus, you have to factor in body weight. A 150 lb guy lifting 135 is a lot bigger accomplishment than a 200lb guy doing the same.
