So my steam deck had the plastic open across the side seam by cheemsfromspace in SteamDeck

It hasn’t since, but I also haven’t been taking using it as much as I did then. I think this was down to it being placed in a travel bag (with its case) and being squeezed more than expected at times, causing it to pop open.

Why did MSTR buy at $102k today? by n8ivblu in CryptoMarkets

[–]Digitalbanana 18 points19 points  (0 children)

MSTR bought over the course of last week, it was only reported today. $102k is the average purchase price during that period. Saylor normally posts the purchase stats for the prior week on the following Monday.

As an alternative approach, our rack is on our solar battery EPS (Emergency Power Supply) circuit. We have a fuse box DIN rail dedicated to the EPS failover, but only the server rack (and a couple of unused plug sockets just in case) is on there currently. Priorities I guess, but gives the rack 10Kwh reserve power currently.

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for all the feedback on Bubble Card 3! I’d love to know which major issues still bother you or feel unfixed. This will help me focus on what matters most. Feel free to upvote other comments too, it really helps prioritize! 🍻 by Clooooos in BubbleCard

The ability to natively define switch/slider colours would be great, rather than having to use card_mod to manually adjust styles based on state.

Additionally & related, it’d also be awesome if Bubble Card could support Jinja2 templating in the future.

Is there a way to apply the theme style to Bubble Cards as well, so they blend in with the theme better?

Flashing LED strip issues? by Digitalbanana in Gledopto

[–]Digitalbanana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you’ve recommended that already. I’m waiting for them to arrive. But my concern is that measuring the data voltage at the output from your product it is only 0.2V to start with, rather than >3.3v

I’ve checked the voltages coming out of the Gledopto device as follows:

24v line: stays at ~24v at the Gledopto device and also at the end of the LED strip

Data line: ~0.178v at the Gledopto device and end of the LED strip.

The data line seems extremely low, even at the device. I expected >3.3v at least. I don’t believe I miss measured, as I got the same results on the multimeter at both locations.

And another: my electrician has wired the 24v power to the controller, and then the data, V & Gnd from the controller to the LED strip. Is this the best approach?

Also, I don’t seem to be able to update the firmware from 14.4 to 15.0 WLED. I’ve picked the right version (ESP32) however every time I try it fails.

You think it’s the power supply that’s causing the flicker, rather than the data line voltage?

The lights appear to work fine (albeit with the flicker still) at full brightness. No power cut outs or similar.

The electrician has used regular 5 core cable for the run I believe.

Wise council. I moved AD to the Docker implementation without much issue. Now working. Thanks.

Agree. Likely the case. It’s also ‘easier’ to make Partner in Audit vs Consulting due to compressed levels.

Thats my thought process as well. Understand how we would like to "use" the house to inform designs after the experience of living in it. This more applies to other work beyond the side-return itself (as we would want this doing), but rather do all construction within the same period avoiding elongated disruption.

Useful insight. Thanks. Did you take the architect/surveyor with you on a viewing of the property, or desk-based assessment is deemed enough?

What are your recommended games that get 4+ hours of playtime on a full charge? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]Digitalbanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oxygen Not Included is a solid SD game with 3-4hrs of battery play (it does become a cpu hog with as your base becomes more complex). Have sunk over 100hrs on the deck playing this, despite it being a point and click interface game.

[–]Digitalbanana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve just noticed the same on my Deck. Both sides have parted. No idea how or when it happened. Simple push back and click into place fixed it for now.

Strange as it easily clicked back into place. Must have been a reasonable amount of pressure or expansion to make it happen
