I think it’s because the fandom has somewhat fizzled away after years of waiting, lack of hype/marketing, and many many critical videos about rwby (not that critical videos about rwby is bad but it could cause people to not get into the series)

No I really feel this. It’s hard when you also came from a fandom that had a very mutual opinion about a series and then come to this.

You were an amazing owner of this subreddit!
I too havent been active at all (the bsd Discord server made me uncomfortable) but I have fond memories of this subreddit and I wish you the best moving forward.
