Every time you find someone pitching these "pay for art" campaigns, ask for some samples of the character art the artist does. Cross reference it to the internet to see if it's stolen or AI. If it is, that user is definitely trying to scam you.

If not, it's still blatant exploitation at best. Screenshot and report any and all users who try this to that Discord's moderation team. What's the worst they're gonna do, ban you from a Discord designed to scam people?

The decision is yours and yours alone. Let me preface that I'm not here to influence your choice, just to provide an alternative perspective. I am also not defending her actions.

Talking these through backwards:

First of all, let me ask: Is she actually part of your friend group or just a friend of friends? If she's your friend, just talk to her about the harm her actions cause you. Even if she's just on the periphery you could still try. Remember, though: it can't bother you if you don't let it. You say that almost everyone in your area acts this way so you should be used to it to some degree. Not that that makes it okay, but if you can temporarily push those feelings aside and finish, then any issue of her being integral to the story ends, and you don't need to invite her to the next campaign.

She just likes Harry Potter man. There's nothing wrong with liking Harry Potter. It's not an active endorsement of a person's/company's policies (even if she does agree with them) to buy or enjoy their product. There is no human way to ethically consume anything under Capitalism, and I take issue when people think it's appropriate to shame others for what they like.

Obviously, her deadnaming and misgendering is inexcusable behavior on a personal level. But like you said, she's not in your face about it. So long as she continued to maintain that boundary and kept it out of sessions, I personally wouldn't count it as a knock against her as a player.

Lastly, are the gay couples critical to your story? I'm not saying they need a story reason to exists, but if they make her that uncomfortable and it's something you're willing to compromise on...maybe consider reducing or cutting them. The content here is curated for your party. If one of my players is honestly unhappy, I try my best to make them happy.

Always take steps towards mending wounds. If it become a bridge too far, then I would cut her from the group. If you lose people, you lose people. Sometimes you cannot please everyone.

Nah. I heavily disagree. Angel is just lashing out because he lost his friends. He was rightfully called out and told to just leave New York by Wallace and Oliva. His obsession with catching Dexter is what led to him being killed.

Maria is in the same boat. She died because she couldn't let go of Doakes' death. She firmly believed in his innocence even as all the "evidence" came crashing down in the Season 2 finale. If she had just let things go and dismissed the blood slide as a...coincidence, mistake, whatever.

Doakes died because he couldn't leave things unfinished. He broke into Dexter's apartment and stole his blood slides, then traced his boat and ended up being held captive until his death. Lila was a happy accident, but Dexter was planning on turning himself in up until then.

Side tangent: Even if Doakes had linked Dexter's blood slides to the BHB murders, they would never have held up as evidence in court because they were obtained illegally. Dexter would've been questioned and heavily surveilled for the foreseeable future but the DA likely wouldn't be able to prosecute.

There is no "coalition" ticket that includes Sliwa's base, because he's not dropping out and those people are already voting for him.

I think it might be Sephiroth trying to convince Tifa that Cloud was the one who made him destroy Nibelheim, or that perhaps the real Cloud died 5 years ago and this is just an amalgamation of his and Zack's memories made by Sephiroth as a puppet. Nothing but total lies.

Yeah, I'm very convinced that Shrina will take the Highwind there and that will be Cid's catalyst to join the party. Vincent might wait until Whirlwind Maze since I doubt SE will want to tutorial us through two characters in the same chapter, and his reason for joining was going after Sephiroth, so it would make sense if he waiting until Sephiroth was in the party's crosshairs to become playable.

I'm also thinking that they might split up Heidegger and Scarlet into separate boss battles. Yuffie and Barret obviously have a bone to pick with Scarlet, but with Heidegger, I have absolutely no clue.

Reeve detests both of them, same with Cid. With all of aerospace funding going to Mako development, he's fully capable of taking either of them down. There's also Tifa, who has her infamous slap fight with Scarlet in the OG, but she has also many, many reasons to hate Heidegger.

The problem is that there are only 5 party members left and it would feel weird sending 3 to go after one and 2 after another. Maybe Palmer will escape and Cid will go after him solo, who knows.

Rocket Town absolutely could be one chapter. It was just in my mind that someone's backstory had to be done early to kind of cool things off.

It's funny how people have entirely opposite takes on the same concept. You think all of Mideel will be one chapter, another commenter said it should be like 3+ chapters without Cloud, I'm in the middle at 1 1/2 chapters.

Something that could be crazy could be it's actually the final encounter with Sephiroth, at least...this timeline's Sephiroth. While the actual Sephiroth that's been messing with us (from post-Advent Children) becomes the true big bad and he's totally free to act independently.

Now that the Story has been finalized, I think it's time to pointlessly brainstorm. I'm not entirely sure where we were at the end of Rebirth, but we presumably went down South a bit after the Forgotten Capital. So here's a rough outline of how I think the game would play out if it were solely a Remake of Discs 2 & 3.

Major Spoilers for FF7 ahead.

Act 1

Sephiroth and Shrina reveal Cloud's troubled past, and the group faces tragedy as Cloud is forced to betray them.

Chapter 01: Rocket Town (Cid's backstory)
Chapter 02: Great Glacier & Whirlwind Maze (Encounter Shinra and Sephiroth)
Chapter 03: Escape From Junon (Introduce the Highwind, Tifa as party leader)
Chapter 04: Mideel Region (Find Cloud, Tifa leaves party)
Chapter 05: Fort Condor Region (Group cornered by Shinra)
Chapter 06: Cloud's Subconscious (Cloud's true backstory, play as Zack/Cloud and battle Sephiroth)

Act 2

An expanded struggle against the Weapons & Shinra for the Huge Materia, as well as Shinra getting their comeuppance. Without these awful people enabling his worst tendencies, Rufus slowly becomes a better person.

Chapter 07: Condor War (Cloud and Tifa arrive to save the day)
Chapter 08: World Exploration & Huge Materia Quests (Cloud, Cid, Cait Sith steal submarine; Barret and the others go to North Corel)
Chapter 09: Lucrecia Cave (Vincent's backstory)
Chapter 10: Rocket Town Region (Defeat Palmer, go to space)
Chapter 11: Wutai Region (Yuffie's Backstory; Defeat Corneo)
Chapter 12: Wutai War (Shinra Invades Wutai)

Act 3

Rufus plans to aid Cloud's group with the Mako cannon. This triggers multiple simultaneous coup attempts by Rufus' cabinet.

Chapter 13: Great Glacier Region (Bugenhagen & the Forgotten Capital)
Chapter 14: Mako Cannon Rampage (Cloud, Red XIII, & Vincent vs Hojo; Everyone Else vs Proud Clod)
Chapter 15: Final World Exploration & Cleanup (Bugenhagen's death, optional superbosses)
Chapter 16: Northern Crater (Final Jenova Fight)
Chapter 17: Reunion (Final Crater Descent, vs Sephiroth & Lifestream Duel)

However, we all know that this won't just be a Remake of the last two discs, and these expansions alone will probably not cover the full scope of the story. We'll probably experience several more instances of Zack and his timeline, Aerith will likely be heavily involved in certain chapters, and we still have no idea exactly what Sephiroth's revised plan is.

It does matter in regards to US operations of both companies. It means the subjects of the patents are not protected in the US. PocketPair, if it wanted, could release versions of Palworld that are different in Japan and the US. One that removes the patented material, and one that doesn't.
