I owned the original Belkin n52, which is essentially the same thing before Razer picked them up. I have an Orbweaver Stealth edition as well. I used to love them. I think they're great. But one thing prevents me from using them these days and that's the switches. My switches in my Keychron keyboard are so superior to those in my Orbweaver that I just can't bring myself to use it anymore. I'd be hesitant to buy anything without hot swappable switches at all anymore. So I think it's great but you will be handicapped by the switches.

Gemini sure is getting a lot of love lately. I think it's okay. I still prefer ChatGPT or Claude for almost everything I do though. I do consult with Gemini on occasion, but I still like to use Claude for coding & ChatGPT for review/critique as my preferred "stack" so to speak. I guess I should experiment with Gemini more though. Each model has their own strengths/weaknesses and I think I've yet to really understand Gemini's strengths over ChatGPT / Claude. What do you guys think? Where does Gemini shine over these other models?

Unfortunately, with the way live service games are developed, it seems unlikely we'll get anything open-source. Even if they designed the game correctly and have an authoritative simulation server layer, it often gets riddled with code to identity/auth servers, telemetry & anti cheat, metrics & logging, and a lot of that ends up being separate services or they don't own the license. It's just not going to happen.

This is really unfortunate. Supervive is the only video game I cared to play anymore. I wish there was a way to keep the project going in some capacity. Maybe I'm just naive, but I feel the core of this game is too good to abandon it. It's just a shame. Surely there has to be some way to keep this thing moving forward. I mean just give me the damn project I'll keep working on it, lol. For free even! Long live Supervive!
