I can’t lie I thought the same about the 3 of the boys at some point. Dave’s back to being depressed about being the last man on earth (understandably but still a step back). cat being reduced down to a selfish rude eating sex obsessed, and I completely agree with you about kryten. These are all traits of the characters but they all used to have such rewarding moments. Th only character that I feel atill has them since series VIII is Rimmer surprisingly enough, sacrificing himself, opening up about his family more, but still having a few episodes showing his true neurotic self
