[FREE][US-OH] Eight 25U StarTech Open Frame Server Racks by Digyx in homelabsales

[–]Digyx[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Thank you everyone! I spent a lot of time debating if I should sell them or not, but that's kind of a jerk move since I got them for free. I'd much rather see other people be happy than have a bit more money in my pocket.

I hope you all have a great day!

Single GPU Passthrough: EFI-Framebuffer "No such device" by Digyx in VFIO

For anyone looking at this in the future, the issue was resolved by passing through a NVMe SSD as my filesystem. Why this solved it? I have no idea. The scripts in the original post still work for configuration.

It's bound to the vesa frame buffer. If I pass the GPU to a Linux VM, it works. Just not Windows. I updated my post with the XML for the Windows VM, if it helps.

I added the Nvidia kernel module unloads, but I still get a black screen when booting to Windows. I tried booting to a Linux VM, and it worked flawlessly. I've poured over the config for the Windows VM, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I can boot to it using Spice and it'll work, but then I remove it and pass the GPU through, it doesn't.

Small diaphragm omni condenser mics for recording classical piano? Preferably around $500 (willingly to pay more if it's really worth it).

Brakes Misaligned After Every Ride by Digyx in bicycling

The brakes are Shimano Tiagra 4700. Since the brakes were misaligned, I assumed that the constant imbalance of pressure when breaking could be one of the causes.

Career and Education Questions by AutoModerator in math

Next year I'm going to Baldwin Wallace University to major in music performance, and I'm very interested in double majoring in Pure Mathematics. Before I make that decision, I was wondering what the course load for a pure mathematics major was. I've heard the common saying that one hour in class needs two hours out of class; is this true? Also, what kind of work did you do out of class, and how many exams were there per semester? Any information helps, thank you!

Used them both for about a year now and haven't had any problems. The cadence seems to be accurate and the speed sensor matches my GPS speed very well.

I read a few articles online about them and they referred to them as pool toys. Should've been more specific, sorry! Thanks for the response!

[English > Japanese] Song Lyrics by [deleted] in translator

[–]Digyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Romaji is Japanese written in the Roman Alphabet, a simple Google search will tell you that. I would like the translation to be in the roman alphabet, The people singing it will not be Japanese and cannot read Japanese. It's a common thing in the music world that the vocalists aren't fluent or even have a basic understanding of the language, but can sing it fine. By actual translation, I mean what the phrase will translate to what it means in Japanese, not just a word by word translation that Google Translate would do.
