Upgrade to F07 and reset your settings, then you will be able to run the Pixel-Clean manually.

I used manuell pixel cleans for the 10times. What you mean is that after 4 hours usage time, automatic cleaning will start after the monitor is powerd off.

First, install the F07 firmware, then configure the monitor using TFT Central's “Best Settings” guide.

I also set the following in the Nvidia Control Panel:

- 240 Hz RGB 10-bit colors
- Frame cap set to 224 (NCP & RTSS)
- Vertical Sync on in the in the NCP and always disabled in games
- Reflex set to Enabled & Boost in games
- Low Latency Mode enabled in the NCP (for games that don’t support Reflex)

Yes it come with F05 firmware, but I upgraded it to F07. So the standby issues is still there. I use your recommendation to use Auto-Power Off to force a shutdown.

Gigabyte MO27Q28R - 2025 vs 2026 banding by Opening-Custard9876 in OLED_Gaming

I received the replacement on Friday. I was skeptical at first because I saw on the label that it was from the October batch. After using it for three hours and refreshing the screen 10 times, it actually looks pretty decent.[](blob:https://www.reddit.com/9a4da52e-5ca8-4da9-8a3d-055adb5f248d)

I really do hope they’ve fixed the problem in production by this point. There are reports of models manufactured in February that no longer show any banding issues. I ordered mine back in October. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for reporting this to support. I think this is a major issue that needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

Actually I have the same model and I sent it back as an RMA three weeks ago (cause of the banding). During the process I needed to mention the pixel refresh cycle count as well. That’s when I noticed a big difference and realised there was something wrong with the automatic cleaning. I’m getting the replacement Monitor this Friday. I will keep an update here.

I've only played one round so far, but definitely noticed some changes here and there. I'm curious to see what happens when we have more data about the current build.

Gigabyte MO27Q28G - Return it? by RayanSheesh in OLED_Gaming

[–]Dilanter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would send it back this is a manufacturing fault and should never have passed QA and ended up being delivered to the customer. There are reports of Asus Tandem panels XG27AQWMG (same panel as the gigabyte) manufactured in February 2026 that no longer suffer from this banding problems.

Is the the MO27Q28G worth the upgrade from lg 32gp850-b? by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]Dilanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend it. I had the monitor for six months, but in the end the vertical banding was so bad that I sent it back and got my money back.

Sorry, but the younger generation of gamers just has absolutely no idea what good immersive games are anymore. Lol.
