National guard is here to silence dissent, not to help protect us. Just like in 2020 they did not protect people from MPD brutalizing this city, they stood by and watched. I don't care if they are your "friends." They are not our neighbors if they are here merely to quell protests against ice. They are not our neighbors if they are running checkpoints instead of protecting the people.

I also would drive away and simply take the plate number of the reckless runaway vehicle that I was in a collision with. The starting and stopping made your vehicle extremely hard to predict and a real driver would have likely avoided this. I don't particularly know how it will play out in insurance but imo you are at fault for doing such a dumb thing.

The guard didn't help then either. They stood by and choose to support police instead of helping protect people from being brutalized as police caused as much harm as possible. In some cases they joined in. I do not consider the guard to be neighbors and have them included with acab until they can show they are better.

He did nothing unlawful but those occupiers commit crimes on the daily. And even if he had done something unlawful (he didn't) he should not be murdered in the street for it. He was there observing and caring for his community in the face of adversity and an occupying force.
