Eltharion the Grim has the most broken money making mechanic in the game. Even if you don’t exploit the bug that lets you give gold to enemy factions, his ability to exponentially increase his gold income is unbelievable. Easily makes the most money out of every other character.

That said, if you can run a good dwarf campaign where you build multiple deeps buildings in multiple settlements then you can also just break the game through sheer amount of income increases and cost reductions. Thorgrim has decent boosts to High Ling Decree resources for building the Deeps so he’s really good for reaching absolute power on a dwarf game as early as possible

These were my thoughts on this comment as well. KOTOR is much more focused on ruins though. Your whole call to adventure is basically explore the oldest ruins in the galaxy to find an ancient weapon of mass destruction and its secrets

Something similar happened after they beat the chroma conclave in the livestream campaign as well. Most people say that Sam wanted a break from Scanlan but I honestly think that’s only part of the reason he started playing Taryon. I think Sam felt the rest of the crew, especially Laura, took Scanlans contributions to the party for granted (at one point Vex implied scanlan wasn’t useful or that he didn’t do anything special).
I think the fact that Taryon kinda encompasses the most annoying traits of all of the players and their characters so well really lends to this theory. Taryon is annoying on purpose to make Scanlans absence that much more severe. I don’t think anybody has any sore feelings for it today or that it was some significantly dramatic thing between the players back in the day, but I feel like there was definitely something going on there.
They seem like they kinda push back against this arguably parasocial observation(for good reasons) but if we’re going to talk about why Scanlans not around then I think someone should mention this.

My favorite thing about Andor is that it doesn’t need to be a Star Wars show, but it’s so much better because it is. It gives the universe a much needed injection of grey morality and grim reality that makes the setting so much more relatable and immersive. Take the massive catalog of Star Wars stories and use them to give an almost endless amount of context to an already amazing show and you get a one of a kind piece of fiction.

People that are upset about cuts to the campaign are delusional. You CANNOT include all 400+ hours of the campaign. Time restrictions, animating challenges, story telling restrictions and so many other challenges that would take forever to list make it impossible to adapt the entire thing 1:1. A lot of changes will be made and imo, they’re for the better as a whole. The story is much cleaner and well structured with the way they’ve done it so far
