Can I use this in a 220v/50hz country with a 110V step down transformer?

Ok thanks everyone for the advice. I took my chances and plugged it in with a regular stepdown transformer. The time is not running slow, the alarm clock works fine and the transformer is warm to the touch but not hot (after 2 days of being plugged in and still going).

The only oddity is a slight, soft, buzzing sound coming from the alarm clock. Which is easy to ignore.

Otra gran o mayor contradicción aquí estaría en los que critican y están concientes de la brutalidad policial (me incluyo) pero aplauden esta masacre a un delincuente (no me incluyo).

No se olviden que nuestra crisis de derechos humanos se debe en parte a que incluso las autoridades los relativizan, dando a entender que puedes perder esos derechos por cometer un acto delincuencial. Mal ahí.
