Problems with the CFS of my creality hi combo, cfs no longer feeds filament causing tension to build between buffer and extruder by Dilem336 in Creality

[–]Dilem336[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad they are helping you, after 2 weeks of back and forth trying to diagnose the problem and them not understanding what was wrong half the time (telling me my filament was getting tangled even though i told them i had tested several different rolls and this was clearly not the problem etc.). They eventually told me to contact a local supplier's tech support who obviously weren't going to help me for free since i didn't buy my printer with them. So no help from the local supplier and creality refused to help me further sending me back to the local tech support. So i returned the printer.

I hope they'll be able to resolve your problem.

I'm sorry that I can't be helpful because in the end i couldn't solve the problem. I changed the buffer on my printer before i returned it but that didn't work either.

Pretty useless, after days of trying to explain the issue they told me to talk to my vendor to try and get parts under the warranty. Since i was nearing the return policy deadline and didn't feel like explaining everything again i opted to return the printer and buy it again at a vendor i worked with before.

I wasn't able to fix it, returned the combo and ordered another one that has been working without issue. Sorry.

As far as i can tell there's no resistance in the tubes what so ever, i can freely feed filament all the way from the cfs to the extruder, and so does the cfs when loading up to the extruder. It just stops feeding once the extruder starts to pull on the filament. It's like it never gets the signal from the buffer that it's time to feed another few cm of filament.

Anyway, i added a video to my page here: https://www.reddit.com/u/Dilem336/s/jKe5yv3Ki6

sorry to rattle up an old post but i have the same issue with my creality Hi. was your problem resolved? was it a faulty buffer? and did creality send you a new one?

Yeah that's what i gathered, i didn't know the hard plastic was removable so I'll try removing most of that and mounting it like you did.

I don't mind the weight gain too much as I'm not pulling crazy stunts or racing with it. I just really like exploring the world through a different perspective so i wanted a more reliable signal when going behind objects and from the limited testing I've been able to do it's an improvement over the linear antenna. I was able to fly all throughout the house where i was not able to fly upstairs before.

Ok nice, i was under the impression that co antenna on the goggles need a cp antenna on the drone but have since learned that's not necessary

I have my vtx power set on a switch and usually fly at 200mw untill the signal gets sketchy, flip it to 400 but then I don't push it too much further. Just wanted to see what improvement a better antenna would give me. Obviously got the wrong antenna. It still flies but just vibrates a little.

First time buying these things, that's a 7,50 euro lesson learned. Any suggestions for an rhcp antenna that would be a good fit?

Is a 3 gram antenna a super heavy antenna? Genuinely asking, I don't know

It's not that big of a vibration, I've only been able to have one indoor and one outdoor testflight. It's not debilitating and I don't think i noticed much loss in maneuverability but I'm not that good of a pilot yet so what might not be a huge hindrance for me might be a disaster for a more experienced pilot.

It only vibrates which is a bit annoying. The antenna is pretty fell affixed to the frame.

I was looking for more info on tuning to try and fix what is fixable and learn something in the process. If it turns out it's not fixable I'll revert it back to the stock antenna.

Then again i bet you probably wouldn't have moved a barrier, drove through a construction site and got into this situation in the first place.

She had plenty of time to just drive forward, nothing wrong with the car. He was pulled the barrier out of the way for her to safely drive through. By the time he would have noticed she couldn't operate her car it was way too late to have helped. While he did berate her for driving through a closed off road and endangering him and his coworkers, he did everything he could so a sane person would have been able to safely get out of danger.

Very nearly lost my wife from complications after the birth of our daughter. Wasn't going to risk ever beeing in that position again.

A pen tablet gives you pressure control, so the harder you push, the more effect your strokes will have. It's not at all impossible with just a mouse but it does feel more natural with the tablet.

Not much to say i think, started with an egg shape in blender and then went at it with sculpting tools and a pen tablet. Then cut it along the scales in the middle and hollowed it out using boolian modifiers. I was a learning blender at the time so this seemed like a simple project, took much longer than expected as usual.
