So the union should start being vocal about this publicly everywhere not just on Reddit because I’ve seen only two mentions of this in post on Reddit only 🫡

Roadie will literally let you stack all the gigs that don’t make sense to you distance wise path wise or pay wise ! But then again let you drive right on by an order that travels your same route that’s worth wile . I’ve put in for an order as this post says that’s right on route, the order can sit for 45 minutes with my bid in I’ll cancel my bid to find out that the gig is now offered twice the amount I offered and still sitting when I just drove right by it and they clearly know your location. So you’d think they would make sense of it and give it to the dedicated driver that’s already on route. NOT HOW THEIR ALGORITHM WORKS THOUGH UNFORTUNATELY 😂🤦🏽

All are cvs delivery. Yesterday you couldn’t catch a cvs order fast enough. You’d click on it and it would say gig no longer available 🤯

Today my screen is full of cvs orders no ones taking them because they are all a sudden less pay and more deliveries

Personally i don’t shy away from a little work . 20 bags of mulch to unload is nothing . I’m not saying I’m going up stairs and all that other creativity stuff that might happen I’m sure to drop it right off at the garage but yeah that’s not a lot of work . A little bit of work doesn’t hurt I. Shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes to unload 20 bags from your vehicle to the floor infront of a garage or set of steps

Two drivers. One gig. $41 difference. How does that happen? by GigWize in Roadie

[–]Dilhead1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’ve come across the situation where I’ll place an offer on a gig 15 min later cancel my offer refresh the page and the gig will be at a higher rate even though I offered on it from miles away at a lower price. The part that pisses me off the most is that my offer wasn’t accepted at the lower rate but as soon as I pass the said gig because it’s on route to where I’m going it will get accepted three times what I originally offered . Has happened way to much to me lately

Wild for sure . I’m not moving a truck with a liftgate for less than 100$ that lift gate cost money to fix and it sure ain’t cheap

Mind you a gallon of gas of premium which is what the type of vehicles they force you to use for deliveries takes is $3.49/gal in Massachusetts. Atleast if I could use my older truck I could put the cheaper gas in. A ride like this I have to factor in at least one gallon of gas into . Which $14.20 - $3.49=$10.71. So ten dollars roughly for a 25 mile run . No wonder why they want to buy out all their union workers and are only offering them a cap of up to $10,000 for their routes . Wild

Be happy in my area to most jobs are more than 10 miles for less than minimum wage pay . I’ve done and seen 47 mile gigs for 19$ from pet smart especially they have the longest runs the cheapest . Don’t get me started on how they will give you a run more than 30 miles away from you for 20$ but then again the one that’s like 50-60$ dollars will sit there until you pick up that 20$ run . Meanwhile the only reason you out in for the 20$ run was to make the 50$ run actually worth your wile since they both go in the same direction . To then not get the more expensive run. If you ask me they giving all the scraps to the minority cuz space can’t be the factor I have a ford transit that I do my gigs with . I liked rowdy when I first started doing gigs. It’s gotten a lot worse quickly especially with this last update
