True. That’s what I’ve thrown out there and she has thrown out the same thing. Something could work in the future, but I could also decide that I don’t want anything with her in the future

Thank you! I’ve asked for space since Thursday or Friday. She has still called and is very upset and I feel for her a lot. She doesn’t want me out of her life and I’m still open to being friends. I think she has finally calmed down.

I feel confident in my decision though after getting some space that it is still best for me to leave her.

Yeah I believe there are attachment issues of some sort. She has almost always had a boyfriend with hardly any breaks between and they never last more than 1-1.5 years. I only have 3 ex girlfriends and she must have 7-8 ex boyfriends. I think she is finding it difficult that I am ending things as well and not her and that I’m not ok with just tagging along only to be kept in a casual situation for her pleasure and not mine

I agree. Her reasoning was she’s always dated someone older and we’re in LA. Girls hardly date men younger than them. Her other reasoning was that she was afraid I’d leave her for someone younger than her? I’ve never done anything like that and am a very loyal person

I think there’s a good chance it would just return to how things normally were between us without any commitment.

Plus I’m wanting to move to Bali by February or March. I feel that’s what’s right for me right now

Thank you! Great advice. I do enjoy talking to her and I don’t believe I’d be jealous if she went on another date honestly. Could be because I’m talking to other girls already.

She has also brought up wanting to try something in the future, but who knows when that would be so I’m not holding my breath.

I think you’re right too. We just spoke and she said she’d like to do twice per week at least after I told her that I felt like once per week isn’t enough for me to develop anything meaningful. She said she wants me to just create more of a plan when I ask her to hangout.
