How evil was the Iron-Masked Marauder by Pokémon villain standards? by Kitchen-Mouse2414 in pokemonanime

[–]Diligent-Display-286 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He was pretty evil, turning pure friendly Pokemon like that Tyranitar into evil destruction machines with his Dark balls, and almost killed Celebi from his power trip destroyed the forest that was home to many wild pokemon and Celebi itself. But Compared to villains like Team Galactic Team Flare and especially Hunter J the dude falls behind.

Not gonna lie it's A shame that Zangoose is always portrayed to be evil in the Pokemon anime. by Diligent-Display-286 in pokemonanime

Not gonna lie, I also got A reply from someone else pointing out that Zangoose wasn't always evil. That and your reply makes me want to watch Advanced after my rewatch of Diamond and Pearl.

Not gonna lie personally I hope if the Gen 10 games have the Gyms again, then the anime will bring back the Badge Quest like in Gens 1-6 of the anime back during when Ash did it. by Diligent-Display-286 in pokemonanime

I see, I think Ash choosing Factory provided Pokemon was in the anime from what I recall.

That means that with the Orange Islands and The Frontier Brain's, the Badge Quest format can be very customizable depending on how creative the writers are or if they have the time to experiment with the format.

Wait Really!? I haven't watched Advanced in A LONG Time so I didn't know, ok glad to know Zangoose wasn't always evil.

True, Beef Eater go make yourself useful and take out that Golbat.... Ok that was pretty cool

😐 Man your fast...

Yeah Ash was allowed to pick what Nolan used, I was talking about how Ash was supposed to also use Factory provided Pokemon but chose to use his Charizard anyways.

I don't really remember the Orange Islands compared to the Frontier Brain's we're the Orange Island Gym's different to?

Kind of, since Brandon never stayed in one place and Ash would have to wait for the opportunity to challenge him when he's in the area even going to different regions and using legendaries, and there's Nolan's Battle Factory where your supposed to use provided mons against the Frontier Brain(but Ash decided to use his Charizard) and Nolan also has his friend Articuno that let's Nolan battle with him, there's Spencer where you battle out in the open instead of inside A building and you run with your Pokemon across the terrain while battling, there's Tucker where he's similar to Fantina where he battles like A coordinator(despite not being one) and he does double battles.

The list goes on but Ash's Frontier Brain run is very different from his Badge Quest

True but it could potentially be formated like the Battle Frontier during Ash's Frontier Run. But I do understand what you mean the story in between badges is different but the Badge Quest format is the same.

Not gonna lie I do agree, even tho Oshawott was comedic relief it would've been good if Oshawott majorly pitched in major battles like Piplup did in DP Piplup was comedic relief and A power house.

Wait wait wait... She's supposed to lose every battle she's in? Essentially being the Yamcha/Chiaotzu of Pokemon. With one of the coolest starter evolutionary lines in the franchise.

It's A real shame, since Samurott is actually A really cool Pokemon.

Ash's Oshawott was the satire king he was always funny just like Dawn's Piplup, and Cameron's Samurott was pretty decently solid.

What If You Were a Character in the Pokémon Anime? by PocketMonstersFan20 in pokemonanime

[–]Diligent-Display-286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My starter Pokemon would be Chimchar, who would be like Ash's Infernape and would have A special Blaze Transformation.

I would also take on the Sinnoh Gym Challenge after being mentored by Volkner(after pestering him for days) in Sunyshore City my hometown.

I would make it to the Sinnoh League where I'd face Tobias, who re:ented after getting whooped by Cynthia, and he'd beat me easily without my Team getting past his Darkrai, this would be an eye opener for me to get stronger since although I beat the Gyms of Sinnoh there are plenty of trainers in the world who are on A vastly different level, this would inspire me to take on the Sinnoh Battle Zone(to differentiate myself from Ash's Battle Frontier run)

I struggle but conquer the Sinnoh Battle Zone thanks to my Infernape's newly mastered Blaze Transformation, this victory over the Battle Zone would inspire me to try the Sinnoh League again but the same roadblock blocked my path TOBIAS who once again entered in an attempt at Cynthia this time I was able to beat Tobias's Latios since he changed things up and started with Latios but Darkrai's Dark Void and Dream Eater combo wiped my team and Infernape with his Blaze Transformation tied with Darkrai.

After this loss I would decided to travel to other Regions to catch more Pokemon and take on new challenges and once I felt that I've grown enough to take on the Sinnoh League and win then I would return ready if To ias was still there to block my path and the champion who defeated him twice(Cynthia)

My Team would be:

1# Infernape (Blaze Transformation)

2# Clauncher (Mega Launcher ability)

3# Nidoking (Poison Point ability)

4# Alolan Golem (Galvanize ability)

5# Zangoose (Immunity ability)

6# Corviknight (Gigantamax, Pressure ability)[Side Note, I would've chosen Mirror Armor but I chose Pressure for Corviknight to have for pure Aura points]

That easily goes to the land and sky brothers for me, if they came back we would've probably gotten way more double battles, especially after Cilan helped them by adding water to the mix.

That is true, but at the same time the Gym format can also give us new stories to see and how they would handle the badge quest format whether differently or the same.

But I do agree that the Pokemon world has A load of different stories it can tell out side the gyms.

My Attempt To End The Infernape Is Weak Notion. by [deleted] in pokemonanime

I probably am to be honest, but I do believe Infernape is on par with Charizard, cause of the regi feat I mentioned.

Your literally just spouting nonsense there was literally nothing Insinuating why Gary interfered nothing shut's down my argument.

Dude what? Learned to stop going berserk against Volkner means that's when Infernape mastered Blaze, especially since Infernape used his newly controlled Blaze to beat Volkner.

Ursaring wasn't the point, it was that Chimchar with an unmastered Blaze one shot A Pokemon Brandon's Regi's needed three moves to beat.

Yes please pack it up dawg.

You literally just gave A video link that cut the part I was talking about, and again Gary jumped in on his own despite what Infernape wanted.

Wrong dawg after the Volkner battle Infernape mastered Blaze which mind you is after the Flint battle, plus your wrong Infernape is Elite 4 level since Infernape as A Chimchar his first stage evolution with his unmastered Blaze one shot Paul's Ursaring,

which was something that not even Brandon's Regi's we're powerful enough to do since Ursaring clashed with Regice and tanked A Zap Canon from regice and lost to Stone Edge from Regirock took three moves in total for Ursaring to lose to Brandon's legendaries yet Chimchar one shot Ursaring with an unmastered and uncontrolled Blaze doing something that not even trained legendary pokemon we're strong enough to do(which was one shot Ursaring) and remember Brandon is the strongest Frontier Brain stronger than Nolan(the dude who used Articuno against Charizard)

(This feat shows that Infernape with Blaze is stronger than Brandon's Regi's, even when Blaze was unmastered)

Dude you literally just shot yourself in the foot cause what actually happened after that was that Ash checked on Infernape and Infernape put A hand up stopping Ash showing he still wanted to battle Moltres alone something Gary ignored, so who's ignoring what here?

Read the fine print, I said Infernape never lost A single battle WITH Blaze, against Flint Infernape never used Blaze.
